I just found this forum and thought I would say Hi .

My obsession started when a friend told me "did you know you can build a kick ass laser pointer out of a bluray player?"

Yup that was the end for me and I had to try it out

A couple of days later I had this maglight built bluray player laser using a flex drive at 115ma and some plumbing parts as a heat sink.

After that the collection grew I needed more burning power so here came the 6x bluray at 210ma and after that green needed to be bought then the >1w 445nm needed to be built and finally red at ~200mw.

So here is the collection and I am addicted awesome :)

I made the blue 405nm before I found the forum and found the forum while searching for someone to sell a host for my 6x 405nm

My mistake I should have said I just found this section of the forum.

Hello everyone.I am new here.I have NEVER posted as much in a forum as I have here!
It feels nice to share & get support and of course the constant flow of kind words feels so good!

Welcome to the forum, but be sure to read the stickies and forum etiquette threads in the welcome section of the forum. As this is you first post you ought to start a new thread in the welcome area to introduce yourself without hijacking another's thread....just a heads up. Again, welcome!

EDIT: this is in response to lonnieinskeep, not midias

Stickies are good and often missed.
