i just recieved my pens from mind_ripper.
see: http://laserpointerforums.com/f39/s...-brandnew-65mw-70mw-50usd-shipping-54180.html

everything came nicely packed there were even batteries included!
pens look verry nice and as stated brand new, i didnt have time to measure the power but to the eye the look as powerfull as phr's.
the warning labels are abit less pretty but hey i dont mind :shhh:
the dot look pretty round and nice, absolute no sidesplash or whathever just a nice dot.
they feel just about right in the hand weight and size wise.
the button feel good and sturdy, unlike some cheap pointers.

all in all im verry pleased with this purchase, good and fast communication and fast shipping.
also a great price for cni pointers!

pictures (sorry for bad quality and horrible photo skills):

after further inspection i did happen to find something odd, the lase end in pretty hollow wich might be good for people who want to mod them. room enough it seems.

lol perhaps he ran out of batteries?¿
or some other reason:D
i even once heard people dont put lithium batteries inside the shipped package because of US customs giving people a hard time with lithium batteries.

Nice pics.. I still can't believe how good of a deal this was, I wish I had bought more than one.

Mine was actually labeled as a laser pointer on the customs forum idk how that didnt get held or anything in customs lol

IMO one is enough (for someone with no building skills) like me :)
Mind_ripper would have gotten easily $80 for these.

So there will be for sure someone in some weeks/months selling these for more than we got them!

not sure what's up with mine? did you test this?

These look really nice. Too bad I build my own lasers or I would pick one up.

i got a blue sticker on my endcap. any reason why? btw, mines didn't come with batteries either.

CNI and most other laser manufactures put a sticker over the aperture to keep dust out.
Just remove it and throw it away.

i would gues its just a protection sticker, should come off fairly easy.
only stickers that were on mine where small red and round sticker over the lase end wich came off really easy.

and about the batteries, gues im special lol:na::angel:

RA beat me to it with the sticker question :)

mine appeared weird? like the switch is all out of shape and tampered with.

do you still feel the "click" when pushing your button?
perhaps you could take a picture off it? maybe its something easy to fix.

i once had a pointer with a rubber button and it looked broken and i became sorta angry,
but after calming down i took a closer look and found out that a piece of the buttons rim was folded double underneat the button.
so i grabbed a pair of thin pliers tried to pull the fold out and it worked so i had a perfectly working pointer again.
perhaps you got a somewhat same situation.

Did you ask mind?

i asked if i could send it back for him to fix the switch.
i didn't ask for an exchange as he had mentioned he sold out on these pointers.
if he offered to exchange for the better model i would accept that and pay the difference.

i didn't want to tamper with the pointer in the hopes i could send it back for repair or exchange.

mind said he does not repair lasers.
hope i'm not sol.
