I´m proud to have my 473nm GLP and I can´t imagine the live without it!! I also want the full spectrum available in a handheld.

Back to the topic, great deal for this laser!

I agree. I think that the 473nm still holds its own seperate category of greatness aside from 445nm. Now with the 593nm vs 589nm lasers I understand wanting to unload the 593nm but in this case I think the colors are too different to consider one a suitable replacement for the other.

It is if one cost's $50 and they other costs $10,000+ to get the same power in a labby :na:

EDIT: For a labby >500mW at <10% stability, it costs $8,170

Yeah as far as price goes I totally agree that you will not see to many people buying 473nm over 445nm anymore because of the outrageous price difference. What I meant to say is that the colors are not the same. Not interchangeable.

yea but 475 is DPSS and more visible than 445.... expected price drop is a different story thou

You mean why he is selling his lasers? He wants to get 445 nm diodes IIRC

I think he is able to pay the $50 for the 445nm diode without selling this laser. I would definitely jump on this deal if I didn´t buy my GLP-50 a few weeks before.
