I did receive this laser as a review laser from Handheld lasers,Laser modules,Diode lasers,Laser Safety Goggles - Jetlasers Laser Pointer Pen - ⊕ Powerful Blue,Red,Green Laser Pointer Best Deal and this is my honest and unbiased review!

Jetlasers.net PGL 150mW 532nm

Appearance/Feel
The lasers exterior is very eye catching! It has a small led that is blue, ridges on the head for better heat dispersion and because of the aluminum body it feels extremely solid and sturdy in hand!

Features
This has two locks one is a dc signal input that is inserted on the tail cap of the laser and one at the top which is a turn key! It has a shutter, a focusable head for better burning, a blue led for safety,an ir (infra-red) filter, and an aluminum case so it is very rugged! CE/ROHS/FDA compliant safety features!

Beam/Dot
the dot is a circle but if not warmed up mode hops a little bit.

Abilities
This laser burns like a BEAST! It instantly lights matches, pops balloons, can smoke leather, and sting bare skin! (I do not recommend burning your skin with it)

Pros
Visible beam in a lit room
AMAZING BEAM at night (looks like a light saber at night)
BURNS amazing
aluminum body
Has tons of safety features
Comes in nice gift box
Rock solid focusing
CE/ROHS/FDA compliant
12 month warranty
8,000 hour lifetime
Never gets warm (then again I never run it over a 1 minute)

Cons
It mode hops a little bit but usually mode hopping is gone when it warms up!
It has a short duty cycle 100 seconds on and 10 seconds off.

Custom Service/Shipping Time
Their customer service is superb, they answers all question and inquiries in a timely manner and have quick shipping! This laser arrived in 7 days straight from china!

Overall
I highly recommend this laser to anyone who is looking for a PGL (portable green laser) and doesn't want to shell out a ton of money!

Mini Review
Jetlaser od4+ continuous absorption safety goggles

Appearance
They come in a nice carrying case with a microfiber cloth to clean them! They look very nice and have a small side shield so that you dont get a reflected beam in the eye

Ability
They block all 532nm (green) laser radiation and leave a small yet visible yellow dot! They definitely help me focus the laser a heck of alot better!

Nice review!hi WretchedMerc, u should operate it longer time, like 3 mins or 5 mins per time. I bought a 200mw red laser from them. The pros are its longer duty cycle coz i very frequently use it continouly >5mins and the beam didnot dim much. Not warm for the tube.

What puzzled me is that the average power is 245mw but it doesnot burn much. And the beam is obviously thicker(see the pic)http://laserpointerforums.com/members/moneyleu/albums/good-experiences/2430-red-laser-beam-jetlasers-china-located-company.

I just talked to a representative and they said I could run it for that long! So I think it is just to keep people from running it like a lab laser!
also a larger beam diameter at aperture makes it better for burning at a long range so try that!

Oh. Operating too long per time may jeopardize the diode. :)
Maybe i need learn how to position the focus before i burn things or be burned.

BTW, any idea about the beam divergence and burning capability?

Thanks.:thanks:

Do you get to keep it for free just by making a review?

Is it the same item as the Rayfoss FMK?

I bet not the same.

The linked rayfoss one is obviously the duplicate. It's everywhere in Chinese online shops.

Via the comparion, the head of the rayfoss model is kinda more crude, while the keys are also different. See the pics and compare it with the rayfoss ones:

One of the jetlasers engineers told me they used the nLight c-mount LD pumping the 532nm when i questioned them for the red laser's burning ability.
:)

PS: sorry my camera doesnot give out good pics. :)

Looks very much like a skylasers unit. IIRC, a lot of their underspec second rate crap units were sold off to various chinese sellers.

Secondly, It probably isn't FDA certified! Last I knew, Skylaser units do not have accession numbers; the FDA sticker is fake.

First of all I never said it was FDA certified it is FDA compliant.
Second the manufacturer is JetLasers.net which then sells to laserpointerpen.net
