You are right about divergence Waterface, higher the divergence the fatter/wider the beam, and yes it came with that same battery.

OK, tomorrow when I get-up I will do duty cycle.

Also, it is fine to go out in the cold with it, but not to long. I went out-side yesterday in very cold weather for about 10-15 minutes, snow everywhere, and it worked fine the entire time. It was only when I had it in my pocket without my hands on it for about 30 min that really got it cold and started getting very weird on me!!!

@Mr Despair: I did ask for the Blue-Led option, but it shipped before I asked, and I still received the LED. It looks REALLY cool man!!! :) It did not have a plug, but YES a Key-Lock, which is pretty cool knowing that you have a Laser that is DANGEROUS enough to have a Key-Lock supplied with it! :D Yes, I am popping balloons and lighting matches! I also etched a tiny mark on my expensive wallet with only holding the Laser on it for about 3-4 seconds!!! :)

THANKS Hallucynogenyc, I messed with the focus and it is burning MUCH better now!!! And I'm using VERY old white matches that I am coloring with black-marker! hehe

If you guys want to know how to calculate divergence, I copy / pasted this from an old thread by one of our knowledgeable Members, pseudonomen137. GOOD LUCK--rob
Welcome to pseudonomen137's mRad Calculator for laser divergence!
Sorry, but I really couldn't think of a better intro. Please measure the following data from your laser while wearing saftey goggles to obtain the most accurate readings.
If your first measurement was at the aperture of the laser, please enter a distance of 0 feet or meters, and then the diameter at aperture.

Measurement 1:
At feet meters , the beam's diameter is millimeters centimeters inches Measurement 2:
At feet meters , the beam's diameter is millimeters centimeters inches

Your laser has a divergence of mRad.

I would Mr Despair!, it seems sometimes that once they got the money, the service goes down!!!

Has anyone experience of shipping batteries to UK? My laser took 4 days, but i'm on 9th working day & nothing for batteries when Hong Kong post says 5-8 on their website & i recall something about lithium batteries being not let out of China!.
Its strange that laser in trackable post took 4 days & batteries were sent at same time & nothing of yet!!

Then I will email her if there is any update on the shipping/test results.

Also I do not think its possible not to ship the needed batteries, plus since everyone, heck even in the US got their laser with them, I think it will not at all be a problem in the UK.

You shouldn't be that afraid of customs, there's a very low chance they confiscate anything...

I'm wondering about length of time it takes to get batteries etc. I got sent my laser in 4 days, now i'm still waiting for batteries a week later when apparently they were sent on same day by Hong Kong post airmail.

It also seems that quality of service since isn't as good!!
I guess batteries & stickers with mW number on them don't class as an issue at customs!!, even if they see its going to high power laser!

Mr Despair, i was here & by o-like, advised to have them sent seperate!! I guess thats why stickers are being sent seperate as it don't match up the laser to the power on the sticker!

Faona Stated (from Rayfoss.com) that Lithium batteries do no and cannot go though Chines mail. I am wondering if this may be the case? What Susie should have done is just ship everything all at once, just as my order came.

I understand, it's to late to say that, but for future reference, I would go with plan A.

I said this to Susie & she said it was ok!! & that batteries will be fine!! I'm sure she would know or she would've said (living & working there etc) & not advised sending batteries seperate!! I will ask again :(
Also, if batteries cannot be sent, whats the difference, as in your case, if it is with a laser or seperate!!

I'm stressed now lol.. I'm thinking if my shipment aint gonna happen because of lithium batteries in China, how come you got yours & anybody who orders a laser get theirs as they ship lithium batteries!! grr :(

I know, but sometimes I am that .1% chance that something as such will happen.

There is a reason why I call Myself "Mr. Despair" besides my negative outlook of things. But that's another story...

----------------------------------------

(BUT! I just got an email back and this is what it says.)

Hello LK, Good Day!

Sorry for the late update!
The test result before shipment is 215mw in 30 seconds. (AWESOME!!!)
We have shipped the parcel out to you by HK post and Singapore post separately.
Tracking number is - (by HK post) which including the laser torch with <1mW label. Please track it from page Hongkong Post 香港郵政 or USPS - The United States Postal Service (U.S. Postal Service)
And the other parcel including battery+charger+true label. Parcel entrace number at post agent is - .Please refer it from page Englis Track

Parcels will take 15 days around to arrive your side. Please look on accordingly.

Small Tips of the laser:
1.Please insert battery "+' towards to tailcap.
2.Please obey laser's duty circle 30-60 seconds on and 5-10 seconds off(for cooling)
3.If you want to do burning test please use materials of black head match, black plastic bag/tape.darken colored balloon as object.(do this test to wear goggles is recommended)
4.Please find shut down the beam aperture window and take out the battery if you not use the laser for a long while.
5.Now it is in winter if your local temperature is less than 10dg C then the laser needs several seconds for pre-heat.

Any further questions please feel free let us know!

Thank you!

Best regards,
www.rayfoss.com

So everything is going good, but for some reason I cannot track either order (yes I have the numbers, just deleted them from this copy) but I still have hope that it will come through fine.

Now I will go and buy those goggles from focalprice!

Its just that China don't allow sending of Lithium batteries, so how come rayfoss & o-like have customers out of China? As all the batteries, or all the ones sent by o-like or rayfoss are lithium!!
Does it mean they can be sent with a laser & thats ok, or just batteries on their own??

How can rayfoss & o-like have a business selling lasers if China don't ship abroad & how come people i seen reviewing from rayfoss & o-like do this!! Have they bought their own batteries?? I haven't gotten my stickers or tail cap either if this is so!! & they are supposed to come with the batteries??

Has anyone bought from o-like & had batteries & stickers sent seperate & got them ok!!
I'm tired of asking this!!
please!!! :)

Well I might be going out on a limb here but what if they get their batteries from another company outside of china? Think about it, if they have someone else supply the batteries outside of china then shipping of the batteries is possible.

Anyways, I would not read into it too much, I mean they use paypal which has now a rule that they can cancel an order if its an item that cannot be bought i.e. lasers being one...

They have the ability to do what they do, they are smart, and well planned in their shipping and buying...

or they just send them the same way you receive lasers in USA. How can the customs know if it's lithium, ni-mh, or alkaline batteries? They can't forbid to send them all or half of the chinese online market would die xD

If they got their batteries from outside China, how would it be then possible to send laser & batteries together?
Both Rayfoss & O-like are based in China & i guess lots of lasers they sell have lithium batteries, so why would Rayfoss say they can't send lithium batteries & Susie at o-like says its no problem!!!

Has anyone else had lithium batteries sent by either of these 2 companys!! Susie highly recomended stickers & batteries to be sent seperate, as i did a lot of folks on here!

p.s. i have my laser, so the paypal seem not to mind me ordering a laser!
