A website like DX that sells leg tips

I can't think of any local stores that sell them. There are bunch of US sites that retail them, but all Chinese sites I've found are only accepting batch orders. I'm looking for a Chinese online retailer of leg tips because of free/inexpensive international shipping. Are there any?

As Dave suggested in one of his posts, these are good to use as dust caps.

BTW a tripod is nothing like a "leg tip". You could of called them something like, the caps that are put on the bottom of chairs.... or something like that...

Sadly, we don't have Wal-mart stores in Russia. I used to live near one when I worked in US in 2006 for four months and it was very convenient.

The caps I use to keep dust off of my laser lenses, I bought at the local ACE HARDWARE store. Just ask them for the soft plastic caps that are used to put on the tip of drill bits or threading taps. They come in different sizes & colors, & they stay on more securely than the silicon GITD type caps. They're cheap too..................rob PS BTW, the ones you spoke of are called "crutch tips"

I would go with the GITD caps from DX or Modwerx. Their originally sold as flashlight cliky covers.

You want these GITD ones because they will not damage your laser. If your laser accidentally turns on.

If you use something that is opaque like black or red. A high power laser will melt and burn it. ruining your lens or worse.

The GITD covers are very translucent, and wont be a issue.
Maybe if your laser was 800mW then it might not mater what color you had:evil:

Pretty much, you just have to cut that little nip out of the inside of the cap so it will go over your lens...
