ok this is just insane... no need for a laser scope when the bullets are shooting so fast in practically forms a beam rofl

if u are in a hurry just skiip to end of video to see the insane part

I used to work on a gun similar to that but much larger. It fires 20mm Depleted Uranium penetrators at 4500 rounds per minute / 75 rounds a second. When the weapon fired the entire deck would shake under your feet, what a sight to behold.

Ughhh my phone doesn't show video. Anyways have u seen the gau8 avenger gun? That shoots depleted uranium too, only like a 3 second firing and then the barrels overheat.

That's amazing though I wish I could see wut ur dad saw

Yes, that's the 30mm gatling gun on the A10 Warthog. The entire plane shakes when the pilot is firing that gun.

So those bullets are going so fast, that from the barrel to the target its super hot enough to glow ?

^ No, they're shooting tracking bullets ..... but the result is funny the same :D

Tracers have a phosphor capsule on the back, that ignite in the instant that the bullet is shooted, so you can see where they go.

Note all those "sparks" that are flying here and there ? ..... are the bullets bouncing around randomly after hit the ground :p :D

It's called tracer bullets. Bullets which light up are placed in sequences among the other bullets. On many sub-machine guns there is 1 tracer for every 4 bullets, but I would guess there are fewer in this gatling gun as it fires so fast that you only need about one in 25 bullets to be a tracer to light up a clear path.

Yeah like every 10 rounds is a tracer, at 50 rounds a second it looks like every round is glowing.

Simply amazing and I thought our M4 carbines where cool with a M203 grenade launcher attached to them. Hmm....I want to shoot that. Full auto .308 is fun to shoot.

i think dillon is the same guy that does dillon precision reloading machines... best in the industry i think... best warranty at least. that guy is nuts. airplanes are like 1 in a lot like 25 or so, look at old war footage at night and imagine the lead...

The cost to fire the Phalanx is about $5,000 per minute. The rounds cost just over $100each, and at 4,500 rounds per minute...
