IDK. Space travel is still inherently dangerous. I don't see space travel for tourism coming even in the next several decades. However if you are talking about commercial entities making the vehicles, this is not new at all. The Mars rover as well as other vehicles have been made for years by commercial entities.

But now is the first time that humans have actually been transported using a commercial spacecraft

My bets are on destroying large planes and outer objects with powerful lasers. Don't think about transporting ourselves with particle physics, instead, we are going to destroy each other with that specialized weaponry and stuff. Vaporizing a man in no time in real life.

Military has already tried that... we don't have optics or gain media that can withstand the kinds of temperatures required for "vaporizing a man in no time in real life..." Not to mention how the lack of portable power sources (be it for chemical or solid state) lasers have made it impossible to bring the lasers down to a comfortable form factor. Give it a few decades maybe, but by then we should already be on the moon

Your views remind me of Ronald Reagan's strategic defense initiative aka Star Wars. He believed, wrongly, that the USA could be protected from nuclear weapons with a laser system and spent $1 trillion in the 1980s attempting to make that happen. That was a lot of money in the 1980s, wasted.

I'm sure in enough time will in time discover life all over the place, but soon I will be thrilled to see us going back to the moon and maybe soon to Mars.

I surely believe that in our huge universe there are other civilizations - thinking that we are alone in the universe is as stupid as to believe that the Earth is located on a turtle.

We are all entitled to an opinion, popular or not. As mentioned, it does not change the facts and whether or not something is true.

Calling someone stupid is not a point of argument. SO, Instead, consider this from a purely logical perspective.

Lets raise the question; Whether we are or are not alone, where did the original matter come from in the first place? Assuming a point of origin for the universe or not. The matter and/or energy had to come from somewhere.

All matter and energy tend toward a state of equilibrium. The fact that it hasn't yet been reached, means there was a start. It also means that the amount of time which has past in a universal sense is not so great that there is virtually no activity.

This is the basis of this argument with Stephen Hawkins:

So, by this definition there Is an "alien" source of the universe, ie: lt wasn't man.

But it probably isn't what you had in mind ;)

What is, is. Believing, denying, neither make it true or false.

The odds are too great for intelligent life not to exist. The absolutely incredible role which DNA plays in life is a testament to higher intelligence. DNA being a product of random chemical interaction is akin to a wind storm blowing through a junkyard and assembling a complete boeing 747.

It think the earth has a been a playground of alien life for a very long time. Multiple alien lifeforms have each played a role in the development of this planet over millions if not billions of years. Just as we talk of terraforming Mars imagine having a 5 billion years head start. The human race on this planet can be credited to the Annunaki (an ancient race of space traveller who seeded humanity). A good place to start researching this information is youtube. Search for "mud fossil giants". Watch everything you can then one thing will lead to another until you understand how silly of a question you asked. If you apply critical thinking skills to the information presented to you then human history becomes crystal clear. If you follow the trail of scientific facts from human origin all the way up to quantum mechanics then a deeper spiritual understanding of GOD will certainly enlighten you.

In conclusion Aliens are a given. The question is do you believe in ghosts and the spirit realm? I have some of the best evidence of such you will probably ever see.

Buut how did those aliens get created to begin with?

Yep, how? Given enough time and chance, the physics of the universe allow such to happen. This is likely the most to the point answer I can give, the rest is a long story.

I agree with @Alaskan. It's just very unlikely that we are alone. In the observable universe, there are trillions of galaxies, with billions to trillions of stars on each. Also, it is likely that most stars have more than one planet (not to mention rogue planets that do not orbit stars).

It is unlikely that we are alone in such a vast area. If life could appear here (however it came to happen), it could happen somewhere else too.

Surely we don't know how advanced civilizations look like from afar (do they build megastructures or not, etc) if there are any.

There are more unknowns than knowns though. Credible data that is not subject to cherry-picking, biases and fallacies, is very important.

Yea, all of that is reality, but I’m bored with the subject anymore, I haven’t seen anything fior years.... They never even think to call at Chistmas.

Let's suppose after the big event from where something came from nothing, the big soup of matter started defining the laws of interaction which govern this universe. I would imagine that life, not as we know it but rather in an abstract sense, developed from the newly defined laws and ordering of interacting matter to be in the form of energy. I would further postulate the energy would manifest itself as electrical, at least initially. Life as electrical energy could then reach its maximum potential for rate of development as the fastest moving object in the universe. Intelligent life as electrical energy would follow a purely logical path. Soon intelligence would move past a point where it would be recognizable to lower life forms. And so goes the history of the universe.
