No^.

The cut size is WAY too large, the beam shape is far to irregular, and the HAZ is extreme. This is not for CNC work.
What is the cutting swath? I need about a millimeter or 1/16 or under 1/18. I want to cut, then fill the groove with paint, then sand. For metal, I want to make pierced lamp shade for example an exit sign with LED back lighting.

A common and affordable 40-60w C02 laser machine is superior is most every way, plug and play.
Of course it is. What I'm doing is out in the field. I need to hold the device on a wall and burn a sign into the wood or stone. The co2 lasers are delicate and can't be bounced around in my truck. I have one anyway for artwork and graphics. But after seeing Styropro's video, I see such device is feasible. He made one out of a baseball radar gun. I seen a few micro cnc devices out there.

I'm not doing delicate work. You didn't answer my question how wide is the cut with a lens. A couple millimeter is fine. The swaths I cut will be anywhere from 1/16 to 1/4 inch And what I propose is only an idea. Also, can you turn only a few diodes on with the ttl for better control or fine work. For example the 4 in the middle to get 20 watts. The blue cuts wood better than the IR will
As far as the HAZ, it will be outside.

If you only want to punch crude holes or score the surface at a very specific distance where your lens concentrates the bundle and only through thin material then sure, but not precise cuts or cutting any real thickness, something like a ½ inch thick wooden dowel for instance would only burn, you need a much tighter beam to cut clean.
1/16 inch swath should be possible but a thin beam imparts a lot less energy into the work piece, the wider bundle will leave slag/rough edges and the type of material and thickness will be limited, I am thinking about heat warp and discoloration and a slow feed rate.

Perfect. The 1/2 I break out the Saw. I'm sure you can turn on and off the individual diodes for better control. This beast will be tamed.

So is this really going to impact the availability of single blue laser diodes (ie is Nichia actually going to discontinue their other diodes and will start only producing these in block arrays like this)?

I am researching the best optic to use for the best spot focus. Could you guys recommend some so I can buy them to try? There are so many decent lens on eBay surplus companies. I'm reading on things like achromatic doublet, aspheric, normal Plano convex, etc.

Another thing I need a bit of advice on is the glass multi lens that sits on top of the array. I want to try to cut it loose and then remount it a bit farther away to see if I can get the beam to focus at around 200mm.

At my current stage, I plan to just move the stock lens higher and use a 200mm focal length Plano convex lens to converge the beams.

Just wondering, is this laser power level (100W) close to damaging the AR coating of the lens?

Osram and sharp make single ld's and sharp is supposed to have a 5w blue out soon, I don't know if all dlp projectors will switch to this format but it's possible, I hear there's a Nec already using it in a commercial model.

Well done, styro! Finally the YT video!

But: you again do not give any info about spot at large distances. No spot picture throgh googles at low power, not even a hint how big this radar body is.

As far as I can guess, the diameter of Al cylinder is 80mm and a bigger one would not enter, is this right?

The hole in metal tap looks 3-4mm to me, so this would be the size of focused spot, right?

What is the thikness of In foil? Has anyone else tried it instead of Arctic silver on lasers, CPUs, TECs? Was the heat transfer better or not?

I would stop buying things (except masks and sterilizers) until infection wave is over or at least starts to go down.
If delivery services are halted postages can be lost somewhere.

That's something to think about, Thanks.
I would still like to see a link.
I have also been looking for the osram 3 and 5w blues that are supposed to be coming out.
I have found this but not for sale anywhere https://www.gophotonics.com/products/laser-diodes/osram/30-94-plpt9-450d-e-a01
