WTB: Any 477nm/480nm

Hello folks!

I know it's unlikely, but if anyone has an extra laser built with a 477nm/480nm diode, I'd be willing to take it off your hands for at least twice what you paid for it. As an obsessive wavelength collector, this is a hole in my spectrum that must be patched!

If you accept bitcoin (or any other cryptocurrency such as monero) I'll also pay an extra 10%.

I did notice you have an Argon line at 476.5nm already. I don't think you'd see much of a color change at 477/480nm. I may be wrong however. Still can't afford those fancy colors

Well, you did mention you'd be willing to pay 2x what it cost people to build them, so some may sell. However, I don't think many 477/480 diodes are still floating around at the original prices we saw awhile back. Buying such a laser won't be cheap!

Wish I could help you, Sta. I only kept one of those diodes, so I have a single 477nm laser with an output of ~130 mW. If you could talk Rich (Lifetime17) out of one of his, that is the only spare I am aware of. If I ever get so desperate that I need to sell it, I'll let you know. But, don't hold your breath.

I sold 2 recently you should have asked sooner, LED Lenser Mod 477 went to an Aussie customer and the other spare diode went to the US!

lasertack has been out for a very long time. I'm not sure why they have them listed still...

That said, I just sold off my last spare myself pretty recently. lazerman121 might have one?

Edit: double might not mean much as these only cost $22/PC from the original distributer. All that makes these expensive is rarity

I use mine a lot. I love that light blue color. Not a trace of violet in it at all. The other day I turned it on and it started going dim and my first thought was the diode was failing. Luckily for me it had a crapfire battery in it. I put a new 3400 mAh Panasonic 18650 in it and it's been working well ever since.

I'll message you later today, after work, about mine. I bought it from another user here, who said it was 480nm. It's definitely more blue than any 07E I've had but I don't have a spectrometer to guarantee it.
