Re: Sanwu 55mw 495nm Guardian review + drawing

All good, the more the better for everyone but why all the wrong number!
And you engraved the hosts with 495 when they are all probably under 490! And 480 I think we only saw one reach 480 out of a bunch, Most were 475-478 I suppose your close enough IDK, Just my opinion never mind! Can I ask how much your price for a 495? Just curious!

We just call the diodes by their names on LPF(it's on the offical pdf as well), we can change it to 477nm and 490nm if that makes less confusion. The price we get for the 495nm diodes is much higher than 75USD than the two bought from ebay thus this laser don't come in cheap.

I understand completely it is reasonable, in my case I bought one from the eBay buyer and paid more than triple the eBay price, witch is also fine and understandaable!

Congratulation Razako! You have won the draw lots automatically:beer:. We will contact you the purchase details of the laser!

Not quite competitive as we were expecting:crackup:, maybe we should have put this on a for sale thread.

All in all, this is a rare diode with a amazing wavelength, the beam looks absolutely astonishing indoors.:sold:

Congratulations Razako. 495nm!
A member only the other day was mentioning himself wanting 495nm.

Didn't work with Bob's RGB but it may work with your 495. :na:

I'd like to see those beam shots too. If it is 495nm it will be fairly green compared to a 480nm. Since these Sharp diodes have been all over the place except what they were claimed to be, I am interested in it's actual wavelength. It could easily be 480nm, give or take a few nms.

I currently have a 473nm and a 515nm to compare it to. Seems like it ought to land right between those two colors. I'm hoping for something comparable to the color of my long gone argon laser. I loved the color of that thing, but not the huge, bulky, power hungry package.

I understand Curtis. I was just suggesting a plan "B" was thinking that if one redirect was good two would be even better. :D

Besides with the Southern Museums new acquisition the Northern Museum needs to expanded.

If this is really a 495nm diode, I hope there are and will be more of them in the future. Than we have the whole blue to 532nm spectrum covered!

I wonder what the story is regarding why they became available at an affordable price, then why they became scarce again?
