Hi 3D,
The host is aluminum with a camo pattern And is of the C8 size it takes 2-18350 battery or 1-18650.
What about hot glue i don't understand in the last sentence

As you can see, I do not have copper or brass to create what you create to put the laser module and then lock it with the grain screws!
How can I do ? do you know how to make a host for base module?
That's why to block the hot glue form!

Hi,
If thats the only way you have then it should be ok, If you want to use set screws you need a drill bit and tap for thread the hole to a certain size screw.

Yes, I have the thread set up to the M12 with a decimal metric system!
Then I have the drill, iron tips that are good for aluminum too
And I have threaded grains with hexagonal screwdriving!
The point is that I have only tubes of various aluminum dimensions, but they are empty inside that is not full tubes to mold! so I have to do as the matrioska one in the other!

One of Lifetime's custom AL heatsinks would make your build so much easier..
You don't seem top have easy access to materials.
If he were to build one I would pay for shipping to you..

Thank you very kindly! I want to first try to see if I can with what I have. I have to ask the 2nd amendment also in Italy!
So also we Italians would have more freedom and more tools to use!

With 3D printing I realize only things I sell to my customers! so I let go of the laser factor!

Here I'm building up slowly with aluminum torches! inserting within them the 500mw, 1w, 1.5w laser modules they really are of such powers! since I do not have an LPM and I have to be strong about what the seller claims to be like or not! but unfortunately in Italy this is there and this one is!

Now my problem is to always lock with the laser lens and driver complete with hot glue! with standard or black hot glue (for metals)
And always for the above problem in Italy I have to arrange with what I find!
Now I see that I try to realize what is called? host for form such as Rich, certainly not as beautiful and perfect as his .... but at least I try!
