Anything I buy that gets stuck in New York is there for a week, otherwise it's here a week faster, the New York processing center is slow.

Mine came the same way, through UAE, but only took three days from there to my front door. Had to sign for it, so be ready.

Will no doubt have to go pick it up over at the airport ... we don't have DHL place here, one of the "airlines" (Buffalo Air, of Ice Pilots fame) handles all the DHL stuff.

I ordered one for grins. The next day it was reported shipped.
We shall see.........
Looks like a take-out from a projo prototype.

Just to recap: has anyone actually received -anything- after ordering this?

It seems no longer listing and the seller now only has some power bank, but i'm kinda curious what was actually being sent out as that rgb laser unit. I'm quite sure it sucks and it is not up to spec etc, but i'm curious what device they actually shipped out if any.

There seems to be so little feedback that all the positive could easily be fake, one interesting one is a -positive- feedback that reads:

"I didin t get the power bank I ordered. The shipping date was 2nd of April."

how can that be a positive thing?!

Benm -- I can dump ten bucks in a bar in a few hours. This might be
a joke or better. "IF" it works, a couple galvos and TTL drivers might
make a starting project. Otherwise, see my avatar.

The beam combiner optics and brass holders alone would be worth 9 bucks, so even if the thing shows up with broken lasers and bad drivers, the mounting stuff is still worth it. I didn't order it though, as I'm pretty sure nothing will show up.

I got two packages from DHL recently. My 532nm DPSS 1300 mW laser with driver and power supply, and the Thor H laser. They both showed up in record time, but both boxes looked like they had been thrown against a concrete wall, stepped on and smashed under hundreds of Kg. Luckily for me, they were well packaged and neither seemed to suffer any damage. Still, it seems strange that they came in such poor looking condition.

Still nothing, but things often take a long time to reach me. That laserlands review laser took 3 months.

As for that feedback, looks like a case of "mistaken click". I.e. wrong button.

DHL is usually really quite quick which is nice. Mine was processed in Dubai on Monday, went through Germany yesterday. Today it's arrived at the USA and has been forwarded to the first Canadian destination. Can't beat that for speed!

Odd that yours was all beat up, as was your other shipment. Must have been one of the locations on the way to you? I'll report back on the condition of mine once it shows up.

Oh well, i just wondered if literally -anything- was delivered - could be the laser scanner unit, could be a bottle of beer, or just an envelope full of sand...

For $9 i would be surprised by a spinning mirror and a laser just powerful enough to mildly annoy a cat, but i'd still like to see it :D

There is a simpler way, by default Ebay shows purchases from the last 60 days. Click the filter and you can select which year you would like to see orders from.

See here:

gif upload
Like I said... good point to see the items that
you purchased that have disappeared from the
default Purchase History page.

After some more testing I found that after 60
days, after the items have disappeared from the
default page... and dropped into the extended
Purchase History pages... under [More actions]
on the right of the item, you no longer have the
[I didn't receive it] link.
The only option you have after 60days is :-
[Follow this seller] and [Contact seller]
all other option are gone.

So the bottom line is that the explanation/directions
I gave in Post #80 to protect yourself on non-delivered
eBay items is still the way to go.

here is another..

btw.. perhaps LPF needs another section as IMHO these bogus offers do not belong in the 'Good Deals' ebay and others section--somebody may not read all and take our posts as being of legit listings..

newgazer-- has similar but not the same RGB .5W (638 too) for under $11 -at newgaze 103$

RGB 500mW White Laser Beam/TTL Laser Light/Combined by 532nm+638nm+450nm Laser

photoshopped white thick beamage
yeah that was funny

and very likely done maybe by someone with NO RGB knowledge-- or a 'rush' job..who knows??

I have PMed Newgazer and made a complaint also myself..
I fully expect a nice China rock or bag of china dirt.. for my 400 RGB ..

also only 3 FS at petemizu_0

Nice find, Len. I have a link to the Newgazer one that is identical to the one offered originally in my post #105. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Caveat Emptor. :D +rep.

I wonder how good that newgazer's unit actually is. His feedback is not that bad, with 51 positive and 2 negative in the past year.

The one offering it for $11 has no feedback at all, so i presume it's bogus, though i'm sort of tempted to just ordering it to see if anything turns up. Heck, even only the dichro's and their mounts actually work it would still be a great deal :D
