7W powered by two 16340s? is it possible to exceed the duty cycle before the cells drain? lol. just poking fun, it looks like a good unit, I'm sure it will sell

the buyer may want a few pairs of cells though

On my 44 build it would run for about 20 minutes on a 2200 mah battery but that was 12.6v. At a mere 7.4 or so volts and 700mah I would have to guess a 4 minute or less runtime.

Yeah I don't run my lasers for 20 mins at a time ;) Dont forget this is an efficient Buck driver. The current draw at 4.5 A will be around 3 A and this will give you around 15 mins on time with a couple of 700 mAh batteries. Observing the duty cycle you'll get around 40 - 45 mins before you'll need to change the batteries...Don't forget too that a boost driver with eg an 18650 will draw a lot more current and although the capacity will be greater this will be off set by the higher draw. Quite frankly Im wondering why this was even brought up, this is an issue for the majority of battery powered lasers...

For anyone interested in purchasing a laser or anything from Grainde...
He is an experienced seller and knows just about everything about lasers.
He sold me some Krytons. He has always been professional, helpful, and prompt.

The Sinner host based lasers he is selling are top notch. Sinner is no longer making them so if you want a nice laser...now is the time to get one.

Ok I have finished 3 x Envys, 2 x V1s and 1 x Phobos! These are all with NUBM44 diodes and Black Buck 6 drivers at 4.5 A! I still have to meter them, so Ill start a new FS thread when I have the results. Ill also post pics of the builds to show how the first 3 were made - It'll serve as a sort of combined build info and FS thread. :)

How much are the Envies. I was going to ask with a PM but I'm sure others want to know also.
