"When I get older losing my hair
Many years from now
Will you still be sending me a valentine
Birthday greetings, bottle of wine?
If I'd been out till quarter to three
Would you lock the door?
Will you still need me, will you still feed me
When I'm sixty-four?"

Well, not quite....63:yh:

Interesting.., age groups 14-17 all the way to 60+ make what looks like half a bell curve, but why the sudden jump from 13 and under to 14-17? Why do lasers become so interesting at age 16ish? Or maybe youngsters are lying about their age? Kinda looks the spike in interest comes at age sixteen, then as the group gets older the less interested ones stop sticking around, while the ones who stay interested stay for a long time, there isn't much of a happy medium, hence the steeper drop in the middle ages of the entire group. Huh. I be fifteen, by the way.

I'm 25, 26 on Christmas day this year! :san::san:

What a lucky birth date. When you were a kid, if you get presents for your birthday/Christmas, did you always get double the amount of gifts on one day, or was it the equivalent to just Christmas/birthday alone?

Haha thanks, Gabe! Well, my parents split it up. In the morning we would do the Christmas thing, then take down the tree and hang out for a while, then in the afternoon we would do my birthday! When I was little I always thought I got double the presents; when I got older I then realized how money worked, and I probably would have gotten the same amount on that day regardless. Then gotten quite a bit more for my birthday if it were months away. (I'm figuring in the amount of extra money they have at the time for present spending.) Since I'm an only child, there's really no way to base how much I received, or didn't receive lol. & no I'm not greedy thinking about all this, I've just had 25 years to ponder on it, I'm grateful no matter what I get! :D

I can totally relate! My parents are split up too, and it's divided up on Christmas so that I spend Chfistmas Eve and the first hours of Christmas Morning at one parent's house, then the rest of Christmas Day at the others, alternating each year. One might think with an arrangement like this it would be double the presents, but it's not so, what with having only one income for each household the budget is reduced. Just recently, though, my dad met someone and now there's a second income into that household, so I dunno what to expect. Man, kids are expensive and complicated... :D
Anyways, that's actually really cool how Christmas/birthday for you was split right in the middle!

Thanks Gabe! I actually meant that my parents split the day up. BUT they are still split up, just not when I was really young lol, I was 10 or so. I can still relate to you! ;)

That would have been nice! :D Unfortunately, Canadian thanksgiving is a little earlier in the year! ;)

I'm surprised by some of the ages on here - there are several people that I'd have guessed to be at least in their 20s that are actually teenagers! Great show of maturity from many of them, on here at least. ;)

I agree with GSS, you're a lot younger than I expected as well, Daichi!

I get that a lot - even in person. I had to show several people at work my ID for them to believe me. That's not usually how that's supposed to work...

I seem to recall seeing a post somewhere that said you are even younger than me but I can't find it now. Would never have guessed! :D
