Its 1440mW peak and 1242mW average on LPM on PSU.
Sadly don't have graphs - it's not my LPM. I'll be asking him to test the oxlasers one I bought recently also so I'll see if he can sneak me some video footage of the testing rig. Its a defence optics lab though - so probably not! :p

Wow --that was a great deal for $47.14 including shipping to USA---too good to be true but it was true!

I think you can safely say the 10W is BS!! :D

The oxlaser one is most likely the same diode/driver as the one I just bought in another thread, so will see how that comes.

The only thing that makes me a bit uncomfortable is the fact that there are zero safety features - I like more than just a clicky switch!

I've been into flashlights for about 10 years. Back then, the most powerful was the Polarion something, then the Beast, etc. The most powerful back then was about 3000-3500 lumens, the amount of light put out, and it cost anywhere from $2200 to $4000!! Today, you can get one with legitimate twice the lumens, around 6000, for 92 bucks on MeBay! So the power has gone up and the prices have tumbled. I think we're seeing the same thing in lasers. Maybe if not today, in the not distant future,
one WILL be able to get a 532 at 3W for $40 and it'll be solid.

No, can not be 532mW 3000mW - thus my guess was 300mW but could be less based on price. Nothing over 1W in a handheld a 532nm exists--typically an 800mW 532 runs about $800---any 532nm over 300mW is about $1 per mW. . 532nm is a DPSS laser not a direct diode laser as 445nm is. see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diode-pumped_solid-state_laser.
I doubt there will ever be a 3W DPSS 532 for $40 because of the technology required is expensive, complicated , and requires hand work to bulid, fine tune, and tweak + power requirement limitations.

Low cost direct diode prices are based upon other mass produced mass market products that require them such as DVD burners and laser projectors. None of them are 532nm which is created with a DPSSL process. See current low cost direct diodes available here: https://sites.google.com/site/dtrlpf/home/diodes

Ox Lasers does try to give a real output indication--in the case of the above if you scroll down of the page Ox says the 4W version actually is 3000mW so $189.05

With most wild output claim Chinese sellers you need to take off a 0 or in some cases two or more to guess what the real output is so 10,000 mW become 1,000 mW and so on.

Yes flashlights have come a long way--is amazing that a 8500 lumen HID flashlight is only $144 on Amazon Hid Light 85w 8500 Lumens Rechargeable Battery HID Flashlight - Basic Handheld Flashlights - Amazon.com and evem a multi element 17,200 lumen cree flashlight is $90

Got the laser today, and I'm pleasantly surprised so far - build quality seems to be very good and certainly has a very significant amount of power.

The quality of machining on the outside looks very good, threads are very smooth - you can spin the tailswitch and lens on the body. Heatsink is a bit small, wouldn't be keeping this running long. Stripping it down, no crappy lumps of glue or poor soldering evident.

Lens is clear and glass, no fuzzy acrylic. Beam converges well. I will follow up with LPM readings once I've handed over to a friend who has access. However, clearly this is a powerful little laser. I use lasers to burn out pest anemones in my reef tank, and nothing under 1W really does it well, this thing toasts them in seconds. Balloons pop instantly at a distance of 3m. I'm very confident the LPM readings will be higher than I expected.

Using 2x 3.7v 16340 yezl giving out 6.9v and draws .44A.

In the 6th picture from the top, is that the bare back of the diode I see at the top? And how exactly is the spring situated in there? It looks like it's just kind of jammed up against the side with one connection point?

Have you actually bought any of those "6,000 lumen" flashlights on eBay or Amazon? 95% of them are completely bogus ratings by Chinese sellers or American sellers who bought a bunch from a Chinese seller. Don't get me wrong, there are some good deals to be had. I recently bought a "1,200 lumen" E17 from Amazon for $14. For that price, it is VERY bright, and the utility of having a focusable beam makes it an even sweeter deal. I really do love it. But if I take my 1,100 actual lumen Streamlight Pro Tac HL3 outside with it, it's like comparing my 3+ watt 445nm to the little SD 303 lasers from China. It just doesn't even compare. It MIGHT be 500 or 600 lumens. The Streamlight is so bright that I'm afraid to shine it around my apartment complex for my neighbors' sake. That Streamlight is $80 on Amazon; mine was around $100 retail with a gun mount on it. If there exists a flashlight with 6,000 actual lumens on eBay, I would have already bought it. I would love to be proven wrong, but I feel confident in saying it most likely doesn't exist. Lol.

Here's a review on the one you linked from someone who actually has some good quality lights to compare it to. Be careful when buying both flashlights and lasers that make these outrageous claims of several thousand lumens and several thousand watts. There's a lot of fake stuff floating around these days.

And about the taking off a zero or two, in my case, it was taking off about 9,970 milliwatts. Lol. My wife decided to surprise me with one of those little green SD 303 lasers a long time ago. It claimed 10 watts. I got it to hit 30mW ONCE. Lol. Usually stays around 23 or 24mW. But hey, it was only $16 and it's what got me to start building my own lasers!

"This light is NOWHERE near 8500 lumens. It will seem bright to you if you are used to normal incandescent lights or maybe thousand lumen led lights but if you have anything near 3000 legitimate lumens it will blow this light out of the water. If you are going to spend the money drop a couple extra bucks and get a reputable brand and get something that does what it claims because this DOESN'T! It maybe 8500 lumens if you shine 4 of them at once. If you're serious about high powered flashlights move on because this is a JOKE."

Just got myself a very similar looking laser which leaves a quite good impression so far from a small greek ebay seller who obviously did the import from China and checked the real output to be between 1.9 and 2.1W.

Using two 16340 it is drawing 1.9A @8.0V (tail cap) and I don't know what diode might be inside it yet.
I wonder when jcf1 posted the current o f his laser to be ".44A" if he actually meant "1.44A" which would better suit the peak output of 1.4W.

if it is 445/450 there are a few diodes out there in the market that put out that kind of power. the most common ones are the a-140 and the m-140 those put out around that at 1.4 amp

Just hooked it up to my manual power supply to check the driver:

Looks like a surprising to me as the current keeps increasing with the voltage up to 8.5V.

@6.9V 1.4A
@8.0V 1.9A

reaching a 2A limit above 8.5V (checked up to 11V).

The light output of the unfocused diode is obviously increasing until the 2A limit.
