There are quite a few lasers from different sellers using that host. Someone should sell just the host or one similar to it. It has a nice high tech look to it.

Bought one of these - just because reasons. Plus it looks like a prop from terminator and will make a good host for something ridiculous. Ad title says 10000mW, and description suggests less than 5mW :D

Wholesale Product Snapshot Product name is Hot Sale Powerful Blue Noble Laser Pointer light Pen 445nm Beam Match Cigarette Burning Star Cap 1000nw Adjustable

So what I end up with god only knows! Place your bets!!!

That's 1,000 nW....or one microwatt (uW), which is not even a Milliwatt (mW)....

Which is to say ridiculously weak and/or ridiculously mislabeled.

"This laser pointer can be used for presentation, teaching indicator, children amusement and more."

10000mW? Child amusement? Interesting.

Mislabelling such as the "nW" and discrepancies in wavelength stated. Good luck to what you'll get. Do keep us updated.

Its a popular flashlight host.

You can get them on DX, etc.

Precisely why I purchased tbh, fancied something different looking for a build. Not sure what will end up in it yet - haven't decided.

It's actually not bad at all. It's not acrylic.

Got the laser today, and I'm pleasantly surprised so far - build quality seems to be very good and certainly has a very significant amount of power.

The quality of machining on the outside looks very good, threads are very smooth - you can spin the tailswitch and lens on the body. Heatsink is a bit small, wouldn't be keeping this running long. Stripping it down, no crappy lumps of glue or poor soldering evident.

Lens is clear and glass, no fuzzy acrylic. Beam converges well. I will follow up with LPM readings once I've handed over to a friend who has access. However, clearly this is a powerful little laser. I use lasers to burn out pest anemones in my reef tank, and nothing under 1W really does it well, this thing toasts them in seconds. Balloons pop instantly at a distance of 3m. I'm very confident the LPM readings will be higher than I expected.

Using 2x 3.7v 16340 yezl giving out 6.9v and draws .44A.

Appears to be a winner for the price--host is great---very unusual--Gatling style.

Way back when the Gatling style hosts appeared I bought a 532nm 100Mw from O-like waterproof and focusable--is still perfectly fine. Host has good heat sinking ability.

I saw right away that the entry shows it as a 1,000 nanowatt laser -- that's just 1µW if I did the math correctly.

Its 1440mW peak and 1242mW average on LPM on PSU.

Sadly don't have graphs - it's not my LPM. I'll be asking him to test the oxlasers one I bought recently also so I'll see if he can sneak me some video footage of the testing rig. Its a defence optics lab though - so probably not! :p

Anyway - not a bad result.
