Aw well, there's nothing we can do. We'll just have to wait it out. :)

No worries Matt. I am just happy to be able to buy one. A little more time is fine by me.

Is this where I get to unleash a torrent of profanity without being banned??
We know you're not to blame, Matt.
If there's one thing this hobby will teach you, it's patience.

Yeah but why the hell did I pay $400 shipping when it was going to take over a month anyways. I'm not happy with this company any more. No more business for them.

I see why you are so upset now. I definitely wouldn't go back as well.

Maybe I just don't understand CNC machines, but the grooves cannot be that difficult, and should take about 10 seconds per barrel. I'm assuming they just have 2 axis CNC machines and then are doing the grooves by hand. That's the only thing I can figure since they keep saying the grooves are difficult, and are milling the grooves as an entirely separate process.

Actually it was $485 shipping + $82 for paypal fees.

It's Express though so we'll have them about 3 days after they ship from China.

Matt, I don't know anything about CNC shops' business models. What I do know is it should have been done in the agreed time frame. They made an agreement and they did not honor it. I don't blame you at all for not using them again. If you don't mind me asking, where in the shop located? We have a pretty large market in my area for CNC machine shops. If you want assistance finding such a shop in my area, I am willing to help.

I'd have to look, it's a chinese shop. USA based machine shops are WAY too expensive. Production alone would cost about the same as my target retail price...

Yes you (and many others) do a lot for this community and some may not even realize what it takes to organize something like this. Thank you very much  :)

On a side note, I got all the clicky switches in, and tested them since there were problems with them dying in the grooves. I didn't do any extensive testing, but I tested one switch and it was able to handle my 12x XML flashlight that is ran by 3x26650 batteries. So i'm hoping that will not be an issue.

I still need to track down retaining rings. we need 11/16" retaining rings for the tailcap, it holds everything in. At least, I believe they're 11/16", i'll measure it when I get one.
