I brought a c6 'just add diode' kit from eytyxhs. But when I've solidered it kept stuffing up, so now there is no more wires in the driver. Would I be able to send the driver to a trusted member and them be able to put new + - wires in it, that are about 4 inches long and a bit thicker then the standard wires.

I've tried contacting eytyxhs, but he isn't back until july 2013.

Thanks. <3

There to short to do anything with. There about 5mm.

P.S: What is a good soldering wire to use, that is cheap.

I live in Sydney, NSW. With no idea with how to do anything, I can barely solder.

That's like building a home without knowing what a
hammer and nails are or how to use them..:cryyy:

I would suggest as Fiddy stated to get some wire from
FlaminPyro and/or have it built by a member here.
There are a few LPF members that live in Australia.

Flaminpyro sells 26AWG silicon wires. They are smaller than 24gauge.

5mm is still doable to solder an extension wire. Solder another wire to it, preferable the same color. Put an shrink tube over the joint and it looks like new.

He stated that he can barely solder....
BTW in a pinch you can double up the smaller wire
to handle more current.

I just want to make sure you're not trying to solder the leads on with the kit assembled.
IE: trying to get the wires to go all the way through the heat sink and then soldering them, and pushing the module back in.

is there enough length on the wires if you solder the module on first, and then slip the heatsink over it?
