heres to everyone without a driver yet, i got bored yesterday & made a super tiny linear driver if anyone wants to use.

heres the .brd files download Lineardriver download its smaller then a flex drive :eg:

heres what you need to make it
2x of these

1x of these

1x of these

and 1x either LM317 or LM1117, your choice but the LM1117 is better
the LM317

the LM1117

also its fully adjustable & I've ordered parts & PCB's for ~25 so ill see how they go :beer:

It's actually almost the exact same size as the Flex :P The Flex is 9mm x 12mm.

lol i know :P just this one is like 11.8mm x 8.8mm :crackup: its pretty small for a linear

Hey Guys,


So just want to give everyone and Update.

SO I got the Diodes in and there is a Little Bummer.


Got the Diodes in:

I have all the Packaging ready to package them all up and ship all diodes out to everyone Monday even GB 2 since they shipped both orders together:

But, they sent me the wrong diodes.:yabbmad: Supper Bummer.:cryyy:


So we all are going to have to be a little more patient for the replacements to come in.

I already contact the supplier and they are looking where the mix up was. It is For sure not on my end as i checked all my papers and its the correct diode I ordered. I do know there is 2 different 3.8mm diodes they offered so we got "BY MISTAKE" The Wrong ones.


Again thanks for everyones Patient.

Sorry for the bummer guys. I wish i could slap the one that packaged up our diode upside the head right about now.:scowl:

What are the diodes on the table ? Maybe they are interesting. :)

Thank You for Understand. Dealing with Oversea "China" is a little frustrating. But more important thank you for understanding. Most of everyone has been around long enough to know GB tend to always have a Hick up in it...

I just hate to keep you guys waiting.:(

I only tested 2 but looked at all of them to make sure Iam not seeing things and they are diffrent but the 2 i tested LED around 650mA and Put out ~380mW with a 650-G1 lens.

Also THe LINES that come off the side are Nearly GONE.

I will have to return these. These are Cheaper diode and Not on the Limited stock list like the other ones. So I can always get these in the future. They are cheaper then your LPC-826 diodes and appear to be on pair with them.

Yes. I think they are on Pair in power. These are also Dual WL.

The ones we order are not.

Or are you saying that they are as in they really are.?:
