It's not that I was told something I don't like, it's that what I was told was wrong. Wrong is wrong.. and no amount of trolling is going to change that.

Also, given the great life I'm lucky enough to have I'm not mad at all.. why would I be? One should not allow things that happen on the internet to influence their real-world emotional state (or their real-world anything for that matter).

Having people spit their "pseudo-scientific" garbage at me and demand that I accept it as fact without any solid explanation.. now that's just an annoyance is all. But due to the nature of the internet it's easily ignored.. when I want to ignore it. Am I mad? Not even slightly. Seen a million pointless trolls.. and I've even played one on TV . You're not making me mad.. takes a whole lot more than you can muster.

Now if only we could get a ~520nm green. Of course I'd love to see a 510nm available to the public as well, but I'd say more green would be better since I haven't seen this in person to see the actual color.

That info has been out there for a while. Still an A+ for effort. There's a thread somewhere that has a bunch of press releases chronicling the development of the direct green diodes.

It seems like they only made a few and have stopped making them for the moment.

We're going to talk about as much as we think is appropriate to talk about. If there's something we don't address, it's probably for a reason, and it's probably for a reason that isn't selfish or silly. One thing I'm not going to talk about, is where these diodes came from. It's not necessarily a secret, but it's also not my place to say. I'm more than happy to acknowledge the source of these diodes if that source so desires, but otherwise, I'm staying mum on the subject. That said, I think a lot of people on the forum already seem to know where these diodes originated from. Our reason for not bringing it up here directly, is out of courtesy - to avoid an inbox flood that may be unwanted.
