Well we got snow for two days and then it warmed up and rained and melted all the snow and caused the worst floods here since 1964.
A few pictures of the area, these pictures were taken about 4-5 hours after the water started to recede.
These pictures were taken 1-19-12 in the after noon.
I was standing on my front porch and could hear the sound of water running, almost like a water fall.
It was the water flowing over the road way in front of my house  this never happened before

Even the state park was under water, all of the grass the boat ramp and about 1/2 of the parking lot.

This house is right across the street from me at the end of the lake, it was a bad place to build a house.

This is the same house, there is a green lawn all the way around this house, and now he has a basement full of water,
that's the open basement door under the window.
That is some ones pick nick table floating upside down, you can see the 4 feet.
The blue thing is a portta potty on it's side.

This is just about 4 miles down the road from me looking up Horton Valley.

and this one is about 1 mile down the road from my place.
At the end of this straight away is the famous round barn, there are pictures on Google of it.
Last night the water was 10-12" deep over this road at 7:00pm when I came back from town.

These fields are 20-30 acres or more and all is under water.

This is Rust road.

This one is Brown road, and the house behind the sign was flooded.

This is Pope road I have friends that live up there on the hill side and the only way out if you need to is by boat for a couple days.

The house behind the sign was flooded.

This is Horton road and most of it is under water.

Going really slow I still made a big wake as the water was about as deep as I wanted to drive through, you know a
Suburban is almost a boat but not quite.

This is my shipping container, it's on a friends property because I used to live in a trailer when I first moved here and
had no other place for my stuff.
It's full of years of cool stuff I collected and was planned on moving here to my new home.
I was waiting for some time to do this as I have been so busy here.
I'm am scared to go open the doors, I really am :cryyy:

My friends place, almost every thing that is brown water you can see has green grass under it where his back yard is.
At the extreme farthest away of the brown water up against the hill is a creek that has over flowed to all this it goes
around the other side of his house about 40 feet or so.

The other side of his house.

This is another friends drive way it a gravel drive way with green pastures on each side, you can see the reflective red
things on the right side of the drive as you approach the bridge that crosses the river that is causing all this flooding.

This is the Siuslaw River that comes out of the bottom end of the lake, normally people play and go swimming in here during the summer.
This is as fierce as I have ever seen it !

Just Wow.

Obviously the river has over flown it's banks ass trees don't grow in the river.

So I hope some one can maybe explain this one. My well is 230 feet deep and yesterday the water coming from it went from a crystal clear to a milky yellow color, it doesn't have a taste or order but it's not normal.
Can any one comment on this

Thanks for looking...
