I don't see why you couldn't send these shipping notifications to people through PM's, reading through pages of them to get to the end of the thread is quite annoying, and I can't see any reason you'd need to post here instead of PM's apart from bumping your threads and post count.

Hey Things...

It is to let the customers and any future customers know
that we do ship out very Fast because our products are
in stock.

Any potential customer can clearly see that we ship as we
promise (products are on the shelf ready to ship).
It shows that we are open and true to our word. We have
never needed to post that we were out of stock for any
reason. The only time there was a snag was when Canada
Post was on strike and we posted that as well.

As a Mod you know that this is a Sales Thread and not a
Review Thread or Product Modification/Addition Thread. The
only Sales Info is on the First Post of this Thread.

There is a Thread that I opened to discuss product modification
or additional info not directly related to this Sales thread but
to the product that a member might have.

The rest of the posts are to keep the LPF Members that
ordered this product (customers) informed of their products
shipping status on the same Thread to keep it all together
rather than having it scattered all over my PMs...

service to my customers as soon as c0ldshadow advises me...

As far as I know I haven't violated anything in the TOU...:thinking:
(unless I missed something..:yabbem

It's annoying to see constant "shipped" updates. Most of the other sellers on this board abandoned the practice if memory serves.

However, the fact that it's annoying just caused me to unsubscribe from the thread.

If Jerry wants to make an annoying thread, c'est la vie. It just means that fewer people will be paying attention to it

EDIT: And FWIW, I'm quite sure that the real motivation for this practice is to keep the thread bumped

It must be annoying to some because we actually
ship so many...

I only add new information for my LPF customers....
If new info is considered a Bump then there is not
much I could do about it other than not post any
new information pertaining to this Sales Thread..

I see other people selling loads of different products in their threads, but every time they ship it out, they don't bump the thread; they send a PM.

Also, it may be new information, but it's only relevant to the person whose LPM shipped, would not a PM be more appropriate then?

I think from today forward I'll just update the 1st post of this
Sales Thread with the units shipped from today's date forward
since it seems to be so annoying for some members.

That's the way it was done before and I had no complaints...

So I received this today! Took only 6 days shipping from Canada to Aus. Wow!
Been playing around with it and will start posting up new LPM graphs with my lasers =)

Very happy with it and I'm glad I got one of the new non red button ones

Its about the charts,even when i put my 1W laser and the eagleye sais 1,xxx mW the chart sais 8mW
