just oredered a Laser Power Meter 2.5W hope to get it soon! and Jerry could you tell me if i messed up, its my first time using paypal. Also, do I need a multimeter to use your laser power meter.

If you read the description of the LaserBee 2.5W USB on the
1st Post of this Thread you will see that you only need a
Computer with a USB port to be able to test the output of
Lasers up to 2.5Watts.

You do not need a Multimeter to use this LPM...
I'll update the 1st post when your LaserBee 2.5W ships out.

Sorry Jerry I did read through your post... but I was reading a "laser accessories you should own" and it said most lpm need a multimeter and Im happy to see it doesn't need a multimeter. Well thank you and I hoops to get it soon to see if my krypton is up to spec.

Just got my 2.5W USB in great condition. loaded software, juggled COM ports to get one open below 09. fired her up hit her with a handheld and got the same reading after 35 seconds as my old beat up Lab Precision meter reported. Good little meter in a small, convienient package. I LOVE it! Many thanks!

Just received my laserbee power meter 2.5 usb today. Came in fast! Only a week, and it was packaged very good and with virtually no seals with a lot of tape. And I really like that because its usually raining here in oregon and did not want any moisture in there. Well I haven't tried it out yet because my replacement unit is on its way. Looks good and can't wait to try it out!!!! Thank you so much.

And i was wondering what is the uncertainty in this model?
also, what power does a laser need to have to qualify as a high powered laser in your user manual?

What do you mean by "uncertainty"....:thinking: We are certain that
you received it...

As to the User Instructions.... Any Laser over 1 Watt is considered
a High Powered Laser
