FS J.BAUER Electronics LaserBee 2.5 Watt USB only + Data Logging.. In Stock Now

Re: J.BAUER Electronics LaserBee 2.5 Watt USB only + Data Logging $129.99.. In Stock

Try getting in contact with Trevor.

IIRC... on one of my past threads IIRC Trevor was offering a
member with a Mac a program or something that would allow
Mac users to get some data out.

It is post #13 on this Thread....

I actually had thought you did not want me to continue with the project - for the sake of not wanting people screwing around in your product line (understandably so).

I never finished the Java program due to lack of demand (Arayan's LPM not having datalogging and whatnot) and pressure to kill the project, but I can restart my search for a cross-platform solution as long as you're willing to have software that interfaces with your LPM's be open-source.

What makes you think I blocked Trevor....
There is not one member on this Forum that I need to block..

I think you could easily get Trevor to sell you a program patch
that could interface to your Mac. I know he wanted to do this
in the past.
I will need to discuss the legalities with Trevor first....

What I'd like to do is find some sort of freely available serial datalogger for Macs - the user can collect meter data with that. Then I'll just write a lightweight text processor program to format the logs for both human readability and for importation into something like Excel.

It's not the best solution, but it is extremely simple and will definitely work across multiple platforms.

I'm a little swamped with coursework at the moment though, so I can't get to this right away.

Any progress with the program?

I'm working on two projects related to the 2.5W LB at the moment.

One of them is this. I've not had much time to look for a good serial datalogger for Mac; I do know what you need exists though.
