Community Focus Knob - Group Buy - 2 packs left

I've got about 10 focussing rings left and then I was hoping to use these on my next builds. If these do not arrive soon I am going to need to order something else. Anyone have any extra aixiz focus rings?

Bad news from emachine shop guys. I called them and explained them the whole predicament and they were very helpful. They said that the order was placed and the credit card was authorized for the full amount (meaning they didn't charge his credit card but just checked to see if the funds were available). They said that periodically during their machining process they re-authorize the transaction and on june 22 the credit card was declined. Once that happened they have made multiple attempts via email and voicemail to contact him, but had no luck. They said that they actually canceled the order earlier today because of the lost contact. My guess is that when he took on the resposibility to run this groupbuy he didn't have this planned but after he had the money unexpected expenses came up. Now he had realized that he messed up he is hiding and hoping that this problem will just dissapear. I will be filing a fruad report soon.

3) anyone who paid via credit card, pursue a charge back ASAP

I think these are all things we can appropriately pursue immediately.

Well, I paid him by PayPal with funds straight from my bank account, no credit card involved, so I may be out of luck unless someone knows how to get PP to refund money after the 45 day period has passed.

I paid paypal from my paypal balance. I am really upset about having my money stolen from a reputable member of the forum. Not a small amount either. Doesn't help that I've been unemployed now for 8 months either. What a selfish act of betrayal. If anyone files a claim against him will it be for the combined total?

Yob, I don't have a bunch but several AixiZ focus rings. I'll go see how many I have. I'd be happy to send them to you no charge. :beer:

That's very generous of you Kevlar. I am going to need something for my lenses and was really hoping to have a nice focus adapter to include with my builds but now I won't have ANY focus rings or adapters unless I can find a source for just the rings.

If someone files a claim against Stevie, I might suggest that we should all file it as co-plaintiffs, which would allow us each to file for our individual amounts. I would have to look into this further, but that's my guess as to the best approach. We shouldn't all need to be present, I think it is enough for one person to speak on behalf of all of us. I'll look into this later this week after we get a status report from BH on his trip to visit Stevie with police.

Bad news. I went there with the police just to find out he moved. The current tenant said they had just moved in. I will be honest though... Wasn't a very nice neighborhood... I didn't feel safe at all...

I filed a fraud claim to the police department for my $95 and I told them about all of your money he ripped off too. They said once the fraud claim was decided in my favor it would be easier to get you guys your money back too. They said once I get my money back we will then discuss the options for you to get yours. They mentioned that there is probably a possible way for me to represent you guys with your consent.
