What controller package did you end up getting? Also, looks like you have an awesome colour pallet theere!
Hi there... Idon't have any DMX or ilda controlers... this was sound controled (MIC)..
I still need to read up some info about how to for example hook up this scanner using ILDA.. ''I have no idea how to do this and what is needed for it to work""

You could buy one of those AudioLase DACs in the BST section that one or more people are selling. I think people are selling them for $100. Not a bad way to get started.

If you haven't spent ALL your money on this projector I would get Quickshow from Pangolin with the FB3 ILDA controller (~$500 usd) If you still have more money to spend I would go for LD2k from Pangolin ($1500) or their new pro product which I can't remember the name of...
If you spent over $2k on the projector you may as well not skimp on the hardware / software to run it.

Quickshow / LD2000 are extremely easy to use... There is a little learning curve with all laser stuff but I think you will find them mostly plug and play...
With QS you just plug the FB3 into your PC vis USB and into your laser with a DB-25 cable and fire up the program and then you can just click on the on screen graphics to start your own live laser show.
You can do a lot more with it once you figure out all the features... It comes with a whole pile of demo videos that show you how to use it as well.
Also Pangolin offers training programs if you want to spend the cash to learn quickly.
I would keep away from the Sound Card DAC if you are not willing to spend a lot of time screwing with it and you want support. The software you can get to go with it can be somewhat clunky and can be difficult to use and for the most part is not well documented or supported.
The community here and on PL can also help you out with whatever option you decide to go with.

Quickshow even has a live VJ mode that will let you sit back and listen to the music (and watch the laser show) while it listens as well and does all the work. Granted its like putting the laser into the sounds mode like you are now, but with one very big difference. You cant add to the chip in the laser projector, but in quickshow you can add countless patterns and graphics, and even create your own.
of course the BEST part of quickshow is making your own choreographed laser shows to your favourite tunes.
(and I dont even own a quickshow yet, but have played with the demo!)
