when you have dreams about lasers.....

and nightmares about them breaking

Last week I had a dream that I won $1000, then ordered an RPL 300. Then I got it shipped instantly! And just as I turned it on, I WOKE UP! ;D

Holy crap... that one hit home for me. The other night I had a dream that I was running my argon, except in the dream it was just a glass tube, like a HeNe, but somehow I knew it was my argon laser. Well after about 5 minutes of running the tube just started to melt and warp and it stopped working. ;D ;D

When you substitute common measures of increments (m, km, etc) for measures of incriments associated with lasers (mW, nm etc.)

I had a trigonometry test, I put the answer down as 534.2534mW. (okay, that was a random number... I dont remember it.) instead of 534.2534m.
How embarrassing.

There's no reason to apologize for that, it's always good to bring back the best topics! I just thought it would be better I find the link then retype all my reasons why I'm addicted again... ;D

Ok, modified my post accordingly :)

*waits* ;)

(BTW today was a bit humid outside when I was there for a cig break, the rpl was shinning beautifully ! [smiley=thumbsup.gif] shes working good.)

i remember that one to.wow i am a real geek.now all i need is a must protector.

When you like lasers so much you decide to commit to 5 years of graduate school just so you can work with laser diodes.

Don't know anyone who would do such a thing as that... 8-) ;)

That's good, especially since she is now overwritten by your personal touch! ;D I do miss that laser though.
