For some reason in the last 48hrs i have become extremly fascinated with lasers.It started with looking at some laser pens on ebay,to me reading almost everything on this site.I thought about building one but,i realized that i dont know squat yet.I would like to start out with buying a used,rebuilt,or new.price range is $100 give or take.
 





Recommendation for first laser:

I'm looking for a nice green laser with $60 budget, I think it is possible :p
 
I have decided to go as much as $200.Im interested in a 1w+ 445nm blue laser.Basically a good soild burner.Ive been looking to see who is a good on time seller with a quality product.I just dont want to have trouble contacting someone or waiting for months to receive item.I would like to deal with LPF community inside the states .I would appreciate any help or sugestions.

A 1Watt 445nm as your first laser?

Well.its not my first laser, technically speaking.I have a (HWS) holographic weapon sight in witch has a class 2 laser 0.08mw 650nm (eotech xps2-0) LOL thought you might find that funny.In all seriousness i am a person who uses extreme caution.I would like to know what are the recomended or better glasses for a 1w laser.Also price im going to get two pair

this was my first laser that wasnt a 1mW red from walmart, and i was stunned fascinated and amazed with it. it is perfect for what you want and a great starting laser. it has everything and anything you could ever want for a first laser and you will love it.

i have one right now that is 2 months old and I would part with it for $50.00 plus your preffered shipping method that you would pay for.
i live in kentucky and depending on what shipping you wanted it could get to you in 3-7 days.


if you want more pics/info let me know. it is awesome, you can see the beam clearly indoors in the day and at night or in the dark it is AMAZING. you would love this laser and like i said if you want to check out a little bit more i will give you all the pics,videos, and info you could ever want or need.

it is an amazing laser at a great price and you would be EXTREMELY happy with it.

EDIT: DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT buy a 1W 445 for your first laser. that is like buying a .50 cal sniper rifle as your first gun ever. it just doesnt make since. you need a .22 before a .50

Seriously start with a 100mw green, it will be incredibly bright, and will feed your addiction.
 
Also, dont spend a lot of cash on your first. Chances are fairly good you will break it completely by accident.
 
best first laser is a cheap "5mW" ebay green. They are always overspec and cost $6 shipped. LOTS of fun and great for getting your feet wet.

they will be brighter than likely anything you have seen
 
Hey,thanks alot guys.I think i may go back to my original interest the green 532nm.Im not really sure what mw rating i need but im looking for something with a crisp color and distance.JakeGT has one i will take a look into but if you guys have other suggestions or one you want to let go or know of someone who does. Thanks
