Hello, i am in need of a v5 flexdrive set to max current (1500mA) i live in the UK, if anyone is willing to sell me one please pm me :)

also what i need is one M-140 445nm diode... if anyone has both il take em ;) if not, then only the flexdrive for now :thanks:

yes but he has none in stock... ive checked this page a million times ;) it says backorered.

I already have 2 linear drivers :P but I don't have enough room for 2 18650, and using 2 cr123, the battery lasts 5 mins run time.. :p

Sorry cant help much further. If you havent already, you could try to PM DTR. He has always very helpful and he might be able to say when he's getting some.

Good luck:beer:

P.S was going to suggest maybe a Ben boost, again from Moh, at 1.25 A or two 793 mA in parallel, if you want around 1.5 A ( 1.59 A). You'll have to wait tho, cos they're out of stock too!!

60 / 5 minute run time = 12C rate
Average CR123 capacity = ~500mAh
Current = 12C x 500mAh = 6,000 mA

Linear driver, so current in = current to the diode. What diode are you running at 6A ???

Thanks Dave... you should heatsink it of course, good luck

my cr123 are 330mAh if not less.... i was using one jib driver running at 1.8mA +- 100mA, my laser would only last 5 minutes... and i am not making this up. in fact i always had to carry extra 2 cr123 batts with me when i wen to show my friends the laser..... it just drinks the battery like water.

im not sure where u got ur equation from... but two cr125 is in series doubles the voltage not the capacity. therefor a 330mAh would be drained in 11 minutes...... 330/1800=0.184hrs 0.184*60=11 minutes.

You could buy some juice CR123 batteries,
They are easy to find, and would double your run time...
I would guess

Also you guys used the same equasion more or less,
he just asumed you were using better batteries,
and you said 5 mins not 11.

If you realy only get 5 mins,
you should definitly get some better batteries
Because 5mins puts ur batteries at a weak 150mAh

EDIT
But if you want a flexdrive, This is the only place I know where you could get one,
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-2W-445nm-...622?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ebc18cd36

1.2W 445nm blue laser diode module kit w/ FlexDrive V5 | eBay

yeah like i said, they are rated 330mah but im pretty sure they are a lot less than that. they came from honk kong. so they are cheap shit. :P
