Hi guys,
Im new to the forums, ive been reading around alot since i bought a laser from StyroPyro.
I have shown my laser to a few people on a private forum i am a moderator of and a few of the guys have already replied that they would like to purchase one. However, styopyro is unable to make me more at present and i was wondering if someone else is willing to make and supply them to me?
I bought one from Styro for $60usd incl postage to the UK, which in my eyes is a fair price. Anything around this price would be acceptable. Here is the specifics i got from Styro (If theres anything missing and u read this Styro please do add)

" The set up I sold you is a PHR-803T laser diode with a 100mA rkcstr driver. The specs are 7.2v-12v for the module " - It came in an aixiz case with a focusable lens.

If anyone is willing to be a supplier for me (overall quantity not yet known, but i will be ordering in single units / a few units together if thats ok) then please reply here and we can setup some sort of communication. Oh, payments via paypal please - Save on money transfer times, im registered fully. also check my ebay account (Same name) if u would like to see my buy and sell status on there.
This is a legitimate request :)

Thanks in advance

John

So, what is it exactly you want?

And that's blu-ray, not blue :) Blue is a WHOLE different story :P

Ok, i would like a bluray PHR-803T laser diode with a 100mA rkcstr driver built into an aixiz module. I have asked Styro to reply, im not sure if thats the only info u need or not lol

He is right in that he is looking for a complete 803T Aixiz setup. Anywhere from 100mA-150mA should be good, although it may be hard to get rkcstr drivers at the moment because he isn't selling them right now.

Hi styro, thanks for the input, is there any other driver that will work like the one u put in the laser u sent me? cheers

I have three i could sell you one is 86 ma the others are 130 ma rkstr drives
the 86 one is complete the others are not i would have to build them

Ahhhhh . . . .

This brings back memories, doesn't it?

This harkens back to the days when we were worried about whether 100mA was too much current to feed these diodes.

Back to the time when we were paying PSXBoy $40 apiece (plus shipping from China) for these sleds

Back before we started torturing them to death.

It was a simpler time . . . . . . .

Peace,
dave

if you want i can make you the same setup but with flex drives they will be slightly more expensive but will be able to run of less power.

Less power, will that make them "dimmer" / less powerful? Or will that just prolong the battery life? I intend to use a 9volt battery with the setup. Also how much would you be willing to sell them for? I have a few takers that are waiting on confirmation of a supplier lol. Oh, did i mention the one i bought was around 100mW? thanks again :)

the current or how bright it is would stay the same.

its more for longer battery life or better choice in batteries

Oh cool sounds good, how much incl postage to uk are we looking at per piece? and do u have paypal?

Thanks for the PM :D ive sent a reply back. If anyone else would liek to contribute any offers, they are more than welcome :)

can i just say that if you get a flexdrive, you will not be able to use a 9v battery
