Won an auction, price was wrong?

Agh, my impatience is killing me.

Should I send him a message asking if the price is for real?

Still no notifications or anything...

Wonder if he's either busy, or waits till a certain day to ship?

AHAHA!

Update;

So, I went completely against what TJ said in his "nooo" statement, and messaged him because anticipation absolutely kills me.

Annd....

It's real! The guy says that it's gonna ship today, and the reason it's so cheap is because it "has issues" and is being sold as is.

WOO! :D :D :D :D

Tracking number, I guess he's a bit late on shipping it. :p

Its all good granted 'it has issues' doesn't mean 'I tinkered with the diode' :na:

If he tinkered with the diode I'll tinker with his reputation. :B

Congrats with him finally shipping it I wish you the best and hope the diode is un tampered with.

I'm happy for you Jordan, I hope it works out.

Usually when someone makes a mistake, or just doesnt know better, its always best not to tip them off that something is amiss by looking anxious. In the poker world this is called a "tell". Patience is always rewarded, no matter what situation it is. This situation could of easily gone the other way if the drive had no issues, and he made a mistake in pricing. So in reality you didnt do the right thing. It only worked out because he thinks the drive is junk.

AHAHA!

Also, TJ, my name is Jared, not Jordan. I don't blame you though, my entire family's name is J's...

Janet jared jordan jessica john. They even mess up too.

And, yeah, my anxiousness was really killing me... I was just so excited. :p

One of my nephews are called Justin, the other James. My father, and my brother are James too. My 2 brothers, and 2 of my nephews middle names are John. My niece is Jenifer. We have a lot of J's too, LOL.

Sorry Jared. I'm terrible with names. And most of us use our forum names, so it confuses me more.

A package came today... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Removal of the ribbon, and snapping of the heatsink.

Ze moment of truth;

She works; that was at around 315 mA. :DD

So, 12x blu-ray diode for $27. I am a happy camper. :)

ALSO, I have one final question; how the heck do I get the red diode out of the heatsink?? It's some weird square thing...

I am happy you got the 12x burner. That was a lucky shot.
If the red diode has a black square package then it don't fit in the standard module.
You can build something else with it but a handheld laser would be hard.
