I understand why WL is so disliked here. Before I found this forum, and all the good people and builders, I ordered a Nano, hoping it would be 15mw. (45) on my LPM. :( (I have an Arctic ) which has a nice host. Was hoping the Nano would too. It's not. Thin aluminum. The lens cap is damn near foil, and came with stripped threads. Just wanted to warn potential purchasers.
Thanks for listening.

Have you any pictures to share? Wicked Lasers are made by a well-renowned Chinese manufacturer, CNI; unless of course they have outsourced their designs to another third party manufacturer and the quality has tailed off?

The only thing Wicked Lasers had from CNI was their 589 modules when they were selling 589's lasers a couple years back. Now, nothing from Wicked Lasers comes from CNI.

Sorry no photo. I'm a newbie, but will figure out how to post photos soon.
For another penny they probably could have used a thicker gauge aluminum. LOL
Same with the extended lens kit. Surprised as all the other hosts I've seen from them were nicely built. Same with my other lens kits.
Ohh, and their shipping is as you all know is ridiculous.

WL has not had any ties with CNI for a long while now. They used to use their laser modules, but WL has always made their own hosts. As far as the material being too thin, that's the first I've heard, actually. All of my WL lasers were pretty solid, greased threads, etc.

Sorry to hear that your Nano is falling apart though... is it under warranty?

Yes it's under warranty. Not worth returning. Probably never see it again.

Their Core, when they wanted $30 for it, was a solid product. You can't deny that lol but yes, their Dragon cases were also pretty good
