Slow drivers on route 80 are a pain in the butt. (99% sure that's where the video was taken, about 40 minutes from where I'm located.)

Still, there was really no reason for the cop to pace the guy through several lanes of traffic, right on his rear.

Fair chance the guy just froze up seeing the cop in the rear window, and decided the safest thing to do would be to just keep going at slightly below the speed limit, never mind that everyone drives 10-15 miles over the limit.
 





I'd have to agree about the cop being too close to the guys bumper. Hopefully that little scare will be enough to keep him from going slow in the fast lane again. Depending on the laws, the cop could've had a legitimate reason to pull him over.

Actually in NJ it is a law, and they can write you a ticket for driving in the left lane.

I've been pulled over under this pretense once. (Never mind that, in that particular spot the exit was coming up in about a third of a mile on the left, and they were actually just looking for drunk drivers with any excuse they could come up with.)
