I agree $1000 is a bit steep. 600 sounds more realistic for this unit. and 399 for a 10x BE is just silly. JL sells 10x BE for $90. Im sure you could get one of theirs and with an adapter attach it to a WL unit. the uniqueness of the WL BE maybe adds $20 extra value. Not 300. And watchers on ebay means squat. I sell on ebay and have people watch my listings all the time, and most never get a bid. Watching is just a way to track items to give a re look later.

If you can find a sucker to pay a grand for this best of luck to ya

It seems a bit of necro positing to me, but anyway. If it is 532 nm and sold in US, these lasers are pretty hard to get as WL does not ship there and only Krypton sold now is 520 nm - so good 532 nm Krypton is becoming more rare on market. If it is in good condition it might be considered as collector's item creating somehow the history of laser hobby - might have value for somebody there. But for this power range I personally would go for Jet Lasers instead to get better laser and more quality host, but I'm not that kind of collector to appreciate it because it is rare WL.
When speaking about the price range, I'll save up some bucks more to get Optotronics with optics kit instead, that laser seems to be many many levels above the old Krypton. :)

I have the most rare wicked laser its a 473nm form 2006 brand new :D

Yes those are pretty rare Spyder I. How may people paid $3400 for a 40mW 473nm back then--not a big number of people. Would be interesting to know total number of 473nm units produced.

January 2006--The Spyder I had an output of 40mW in the 473nm blue ($3499) and 300mW in the 532nm green ($1999). Crafted out of heat-resistant brass, it was fully waterproof, with a continuous duty cycle. The Spyder I Series held the Guinness World Record for being the most powerful handheld laser in the world.

That 532nm is the one they hung their marketing hats on saying most powerful hand held laser in the world---they used that tag line for a long long time after that was no longer the case--until relatively recently actually.

They have an interesting product and marketing history regardless of what you think of them---they did more early product than most people know about- -- see: About us - Wicked Lasers

My is a Spyder II BX 2005 :)

Yes they offered a Spyder II GX 532nm green and a Spyder II BX 473nm blue--found this page with model comparisons and beam specs--- Spyder II BX beam diameter: 6mm Divergence: 1 mRad See: Laser Beam Comparison

Are you sure about the 2005 date---could be wrong but WL history pg says:
January 2007 - Introduced the Spyder II Series
The next generation Spyder II was available in red 300mW ($1999), green 300mW ($1999), and blue 40mW ($1999). Its casing was crafted from T6061 aircraft-grade aluminum, making it lightweight and virtually indestructible. It was the first handheld laser to feature TEC cooling.

I know this is WL but this is a good example of how prices have dropped in 10 years. Today you can find 100mW of 473 for $300(JetLasers) or 300mW of 532 for $200(Dragonlasers or JetLasers). :)

(But I did) :)
