My bluray 100mW appears brighter than my 250mw red to me

That was actually a really tough question. I need to pull out both my lasers to have a look at them right now. I think what jayrob said kinda applies to my situation. The blu-ray beam is really bright, I think brighter than what my red would be assuming they were at same power. Although the red dot is super bright while blu-ray dot seems dimmer than what the beam suggests the dot would be.

half my problem with this question was trying to imagine these lasers at the same power since the 2 i have are not at the same power...

My eyes:

In darkness-
320mW LCC red beam is dimmer than 150mW PHR blu, but dot is less than twice as bright.

In light-
Same red beam is brighter as well as dot, but not significantly.

At >100 yard distance, the red dot is pretty noticeable but the blu is washed out. In darkness at >100 yard distance the blu-ray dot is blurred and hardly noticeable. Red is clearly visible.
