What lights do you have?

I've considered that possibility.

If Vinh decides to offer them... I'll buy one from him, modded. But there is no chance in hell that I'll buy one from Niwalker direct. Just not going to happen.

For a floody beast, I know I'm beating a dead horse, but just get the damn TK75, have it modded by Vinh, and call it a day.

Did you get your k40 yet?
 





Should be here tomorrow and for the floody I wanted the niwalker mgt2 but niwalker F'd that one up thus far. Might jiat have to go the tk75 route but there has to be something better than that. I dont care for the tk75 looks. Just looks odd to me. Rather habe the vostro mgt2 or the. X40

Well, the x40 dome on, would be more of a flooder. The niwalker wouldn't have been a true flooder either. The TK75 also has very respectable thrower numbers... it just produces a very large beam. Where the Barracuda for example, lights up a very small patch, and produces a very thin beam, the TK75 lights up an area.

I understand where your concern comes from about it though. I felt the same way, and looking at pictures of it thought it was ugly, unbalanced, not something I'd ever want.

Then a friend of mine got one. I used it for 10 minutes, and had to have one after :D

I don't think vin lights should be compared to stock lights. Vin lights are not stock, they are modified, and made by one guy. Nothing against Vin, nothing at all, he does great work and gives folks relatively affordable exotic-performing lights, and I applaud that! I'm just saying, I don't think he counts as a light manufacturer.
 
I don't think any of us consider him a manufacture, just saying if its between buying a stock light and one he has touched, I'd pick vinhs everyday. He turns an alright stock light into a masterpiece :D

Ie I'm assuming yours is dedomed as well. Does yours have some darker spots aroubd the outside of the emitter? Mine has two semi circles that look like qhere the dome was attached and then a dark spot. Idk if its a burn mark from dedoming or what. Waiting to hear back from vinh. My P23vn should arrive for him to mod today :)

No, no dark marks on mine that I've noticed.

In so far as lights go, at the end of the day what I care about is quality, and performance specs. Really doesn't matter to me if it's a modded light producing the result, or a stock one.
