Howdy All Here's wishing everone a happy and safe 4th of JULY
Some one eat a watermellon for me as I will be too busy to do it my self. I will be working on a large display around the Poway area, more details to follow, and more detailed followups.
So come on everone else speak up and tell whats going on at your place ;)
pictures allowed :)

Family cookout then we are all going to shoot off a bunch of big fireworks. :)

I won't eat a watermelon for you, but I'll blow one up :D

Just havin a small get together and BBQ with family and friends.
Got enough 20g salutes to light off like firecrackers :p
Plus the grand finale 315g beast I mentioned in another thread

We will have friends over, kind of a pool party/ B-B-que, we'll head to the lookout, (about 8 houses up the hill), and watch the firework show from there and after we'll all be back on the back patio having a sing- along. More pool time is ava. if you are in the area, Dave, Mike, Eric or other pals, you are invited.

High five for the protection! =D

A Spend the day at our city's annual chili cook off. A BBQ with friends, for dinner. Followed by viewing our local fireworks show.

Gonna be kickin it with some friends probably watch our lame firework show. not bad but there is a chance i might go off a ways and steal the show or at least add to it by shining my laser in the smoke. I dont think there is anyone in this small town who has seen a laser beam of more then your standerd 5mW laser. that should be fun.

Shoot off fireworks = smoky sky.

Draw spaceships on smoke with sixty watt yag (532nm).

Last time we did this people from 10 miles away on the interstate showed up at our lane wondering WTF was going on!

It's offical I will be doing a big show in POWAY north of San Diego. I will be sure to get lots of pictures of set up and all the goodies for everone to see
Everone have a safe and fun 4th I don't want to come back and find any fingers missing :tinfoil:

Fireworks are being banned (in this county) starting next year. F*cking insurance companies did it to save their asses
Hope to see a huge display this year being the last time ever :p

I'm agoin to teh parteh wit the fireworks !!! (their only semi illegal here Eg: $50 fine and confiscation of the fireworks with a warning) hence we gots fireworks throughout the city on both 4th and new years.

Welcome to Chattanooga Tennessee baby !

The sad thing is I'm so new to this hobby that I don't have a laser strong enough to light fireworks with yet.

I wish I was in Boise (yeah, you don't hear that one often, do you?). But seriously, when I spent a summer in Boise was the best 4th of July I ever had. Floating the Boise River through town with a few hundred (lol) of my closest friends, a cooler tied to the raft (if only they still allowed alcohol, but you can pre-game and post-game), then cooking out in the park downtown watching my friends fall on their faces off of a slackline, then watching the fireworks at night downtown. An awesome day.

Instead, a little cookout, head over to the beach for a little while with a few friends, then some fireworks at the beach. Still pretty awesome.

Man am I tired after spending 14 hours in a field setting up, displaying, and tearing down for a good size show for Camino Del Norte.
It was worth it though, as where else can you take someone $12,000.00 and burn it in 18 min
Starting to put shells on top of the morters they will go in, check and double check !

this view pretty much shows the body of the show, there was a "set piece" of an American flag at the other ond of the field.
