I would buy one and test it on my spectrometer to see if they are but the cheapest one is $120 :p

Haha! 460nm would be quite amazing to see no? But it in-between 445 and 473nm :D

Edit: Maybe we can get some people to raise some money.

^That might be way cheaper haha!

I talked to Grey from JL about this unit, he told me it may be as simple as a "heated" 450nm orsam diode.

460 is not really as obscure as people think. I'm convinced that if more people had spectros, we'd discover that diodes from 440 to 460 nm are scattered all over our existing collections. I will state with some certainty that 455nm diodes are actually reasonably common - not the norm, but also not entirely unheard of (and likely someone else with a spectrometer as well can confirm that).
