I've always wanted to make a waterproof kryton laser but I don't really think its that easy cause 1 small leak could ruin everything. :-/

I would love to do this mod to my CNI pen. Would help with popping water balloons.  ;D And amazing beamshots.  :)

That actually is a good idea, however I don't know how well that would work, especially with just ~120mW.
I want to get this thing metered, because it performs much better with the heatsinking mass and the pot adjustment, so it could be outputting a little more than that...

What would probably happen is the water would prevent ablation of the surface of the balloon.
A regular balloon may work better, but I'll give both a try.

I'll definitely get some more videos but I need batteries first... primaries are $8-10 per. :eek:
I'll order some rechargeable CR123s and see how those perform.
