I have some binoculars, i dont care about them, i willing to tear them apart, however. I'm wondering what kind of cool lenses and things i could get from them?

Would any of them be of any use, could i possibly us them to focus my laser? or just for fun?

Tested, does not focus the beam, however, i found that it is quite entertaining to increase the diameter of the dot!!

I shined it on a house down the road, and the dot was clearly visible and was the same size as the house!!! =D haha. fun fun!

^ yes, back prisms or porro prisms, depend from the construction scheme, but they are used only for make the path of the light more long (otherwise the whole body of the binocular must be at least 2 times more long)

You can use them for lasers, but they most likely will be uncoated, which makes them less efficient.
