It's okay Tmack, I feel the pens enough for both of us if I could make a my dream set they would all be single modes in sinners square one ltes. After building one and learning the ins and outs of what I did wrong I feel like I could make a really solid one now, if only they were still around. Also I started dremelling out the "press fit" area of all my sinner copper pens, so I can actually get the modules in without ruining the host +1 (when I can)for revealing the dangers of trying to overpress. These zasers are wayyyy too awesome!

I hear you on the 1w 520. It would seem like a waste to put anything else in that host.

It's the first diode I've been really excited about, and the longest I've ever waited for anything from dtr.
I had bought two hosts from sinner that he had on sale, I think they are called the ms-ssw & ms-ssw II. I took the pieces I liked from both hosts, combined them and modified them. I guess it wound up a "sinner secret weapon I.V" Then I decided I should do something with the left over pieces Soon as I finish this build and post pics of it, I'll throw in a pic of "ms-sspw" "sinners secret paper weight". :crackup: It really will be a paper weight. But the coolest paper weight you ever saw
That doesn't sound like the DTR I know. I saw on his site he was waiting for some 16x diodes to come in. Maybe that is what's going on.
It really sucks waiting on stuff for a build, but it sure is cool when it gets here Part of the fun I guess.
Heck I've spent more time prepping a perfectly good host than what it usually takes me to build one. But it will be different, and it will be mine.

Yep the II has a bigger heatsink and the body is longer and has a nice tailcap. I'm using the II heatsink and tailcap with the shorter body but I'm still running two 26650's Plus I like blue diodes with black hosts Except for the paper weight, it will stay polished. :crackup:
