Um....Yellow Diode?

No I doubt it could be, I think you will need to take out a mortgage on that one.

What is that avatar? Red tide? What have you done with the Penguins?

Alan

Decided to switch it up to something fresh. Tropical waters mixed with the official colors of Reggae :)

I did some more poking around their website and they seem to also have 594nm diodes available! Pretty interesting stuff.

Still a very lime green.
^Yes it is indeed :D

Does this mean we can now say yellow diodes do exist? :)

I don't get it. You conceded it was green, then you asked if it was yellow.

I think he might've been referring to the 594nm diodes he noticed rather than the 560, as those would be closer to yellow.

I've seen 561. I wouldn't really call it green or yellow. I'd call it puke. Unlike just about every other color out there, it looks hideous.

I was haha! I do see how it could've of been mis-understood though.

-Alex

Do you mean understood or mis-understood? Do you mean you or others?

Open mouth, insert foot, either way, Whatever the cases may be, the range of yellow is 570nm to 590nm.

560nm is within green's color range and 594nm is within orange's color range

Article says 561, which is a (in no ways new) solid state wavelength. DPSS: diode pumped solid state...I have seen DPSS lasers before called "diode heads."

I don't think that's the case. The 532 is listed in another "product line", which specifically mentions SHG, THG and FHG.
