The focusable option includes a 2 watt pump diode. You will find it worth the wait !! I frequently average over 260 mW over 1 minute.
Get good batteries NOW.... These draw 1.7 Amps

Joenobody here. I am back. Very sad times here. Hope this will "Brighten" my sprits a bit??? At least I can still joke, so maybe there's hope??? What is the diameter of the business end of this unit? I cant see the marking in the picture. 38mm? *crosses fingers*

I'm reading 37.85 mm on the "business end and 30.07 mm on the battery tube.
The shutter ring is 38.18 mm.

well, the batts I linked from batteryjunction are the exact same thing, only cheaper. I ordered 2. Got here fast, and well, they are BIG batteries.

Does anybody know of a good charger for the tenergy 3.7v 2200mAh rechargables (w/PCB)? Hemlock mike I think it was that said the S-KY charger is REALLY slow, and thats something that will kill me. Im looking for cheap, reliable, and fast (doesnt sound like those adjectives fit together, but oh well).

i got the 2000mw/h dx ones (protected) and a charger but i expect around 1000mah

yeah the dx chargers ( surefire or ultrafire) seem to work good for 2x 18570 especially with the brand batts

Any updates on the progress? Any actual pictures of the Focusable unit? Just figured I would ask, as I am dying over here. (Probably literally, so I hope it arrives before I kick the bucket. I told the wife to make sure she puts it in my cheasy pine box w/ me-can't afford a good box, spent all my money on laser!)

I dont think so man, this sounds like the only GB at this price for now:

At least 10. they say the deal ends Jan. 4th, so this may be the only group buy at this price.

so im guesstimating,

because we all bought focusable ones, which delaed prcessing, estimated arrival date has been postponed till mid feburary?

take ur time when ur testing these things DrL, Im okay with waiting, as long as I get a good unit.
