TMART - 200mW 532nm (SKU: E00186) $35.86

So, when i bought this laser from Tmart, i knew they were shady and sold crap. I knew i wasn't going to get a 200mW 532nm from them but i bought one anyways so i could see just how far off the laser is from off from 200mW they actually were.

I went to a good friends house to use his LPM. With fully charged batteries, the 200mW peaked at 100mW and settled at about 90mW. FAR FROM 200mW !!

Now, while i only paid $35.86 for this laser, it sucks knowing that they are selling these to innocent people who expect it to be at 200mW. :scowl:

Im really not going into anything else for a review since this is only running at half power from what they say. If it was remotely close, id do a nice full review. Here's a few pictures i snapped while on the LPM.

I debating on getting a refund but it really doesnt matter. I think i might make this my experimental laser...might take it apart and mess with it =)

I do have some proper lasers...just got a nice 532nm #300 from ISQ that metered at over #400-#420 for $160...nice deal. I have a bunch of others as well.

how is the quality of the host? You could always change it into a 445nm and have a 100mW green module left over

To be honest - I think this was a good deal

You got a 100mW green laser for $35....pretty decent if you ask me.

...Now, of course, it's probably all IR. But still, in theory, 100mW for $35 sounds pretty good!

No review yet, I only messed with it for a few minutes so far. Maybe tomorrow if i get a chance. I can say it's nice. Good weight of host, its focusable, mine hit 440 peak and settled at 400. Took it to a friend that owns hundreds of mw's in lasers...he thought it was sweet for the price. Awesome for the price

I just got a flashlight i bought off ebay and it has a tmart catalog in it. They must have a warehouse in the USA? as the ebay items ship from brooklyn.
