Those poor burglars... I raged!






ROTFL !!

Place an advice adhesive near each window saying "caution, wire mesh, it can be dangerous for burglars" ..... this way, you advised them, so if they get injured and sue you, you can reply "i placed an advice as law require, if then they ignored my advice and choosed voluntarily to get injured, it's not more my responsability" :p :D

(and in some countries this may really work ..... i mean, some countries prohibite to use hidden dangerous countermeasures, but if you advise the burglar about them, like the "beware of the dog" and similar, you're ok)

For my part, i have not this problem ..... as i've already said, i live near a deep lake, filled of big stones ..... :eg: :eg: :eg:

well well, if the burglars are wounded they can't be arrested, right? Dunno the laws in UK.
They could flee from the hospital and.. work lost :rolleyes:
Thats bad anyways... Someday they will order us to disable all alarms on our houses so the siren does not hurt the burglars' ears. rofl
 
The criminals are more protected than the victims in the UK. You punch a mugger in the face, break his nose, you will get done for assault. A burglar breaks in to your house you try to detain him, you will get prosecuted for un-willfull inprisonment probably.

The laws are just incredibly insane :(
 
well I believe UK don't have as many burglars as here in Brazil. At least we can use electric fences inside our houses here :shhh:

I kind of thought there were a distinction between people entering your property on legal and illegal business?

An iced walkway could get you in trouble with an injured mail man. It just seems a bit odd to get complains from people who were not supposed to be there.
 
What if you leave a rotten sandwich on your shed and the burglars eat it? Can they sue you for intoxication?
 
I live in Texas. So I will just put A bullet in there head if they break into my stuff.

It's all about human rights here, It's fricking ridiculous !!! The PC brigade needs to be lined up and shot !!!! In America of course cos THAT would be against human rights ;)
 
Who cares with the ruman rights when someone brokes into your house and try to kill your family? ;)

It does annoy me that you can't protect your own house, anyone breaks in here and they'l be sorry they did. Screw the consiquences :)

altough not explicitly said on the video, later that the reporter said that the rifle used was a M82 barret.

That is 0.50, a bit excessive for the likely range and distance from bullet path to hostage.

I find it more likely that something smaller were used and the cal50 is due to journalistic licence. :)
