Yes, it is false advertising, but nevertheless I feel they stand out positively from the
other chinese discount sites.

The idea that they advertise such high mw for such low prices is not something that is generally accepted in the US however it is standard business practice in many other countries.

John from price angels however understands from our perspective that it's important to be as truthful and reliable as possible and he goes way out of his way for us here. He bought a LPM so we would have meter readings. He meters basically any laser claimed to be over 50mw so we can see what the real output is....

And compared to the other discount cheap china stores/drop shippers, price angels is easily the best in my opinion. Deal extreme has fast shipping, but I think price angels has better customer service, especially with John on the forum here.
 
You do realize you still got not that bad of a deal for that price right?

Thats half true. Most Asian companies list their lasers by what the distributor says they are, and price according to what their set margin is. In most cases the seller and the distributor are not the same company. In a lot of cases the seller doesn't even see the merchandise they sell. They call that a drop shipper.

Out of the Asian companies I know, only 3 try to meter their lasers, and Priceangels is one of them.

500mW Probably more like 50mW - its not a typo -- down in the description 500mW is repeated and one of the images are of a 500mW Warning label..

If you'd done any reading beforehand, you'd have realised the seller is actually on our forum, and has explicitly stated that the unit isn't anywhere near 500mW

Now, we don't care about your expensive collection. Just don't assume that your expensive (and rather respectable) laser collection means you can just barge in, without paying attention to anything that's been said so far.

Haha, fast is a VERY relative term. When I said it, I was thinking in the context of the other cheaper China drop shippers - DX has been pretty reliable when I've ordered from them before, usually between 1-2 weeks at the latest, where other companies seem to take almost 3 weeks on average. Maybe it's not faster shipping but that DX usually ships out the same day.

But yes - fast doesn't mean quick hahaha. (Not in the context I was referring to anyway lol)
 
I haven't bought any lasers from priceangels. I have bought lots of flashliughts though. Price angels consistently ships within 2-3 days. The items i've received are always what i ordered.

i recently "thought" thyere had been a screw up, but the delay was because of the chinese post being backed up, and was nothing to the fault of price angels.

So far i'm extremely pleased with the website...

my order shipped on 29 nov 2010. still waiting. :can: and now i have been asked for more two weeks.
 
Mehra, mine was shipped on Nov 29th with EMS shipping and did not arrive untill a couple of days ago.....
it has nothing to do with price angels, it's just that chinese mail is sooooo damn slow.

Personally, I think it's because chinese men are on average 3 1/2 inches shorter than american males. Thus, they are able to carry less packages than an average white american male (height is relative to arm span?)

...it's not racist, I looked it up on wikipedia :D

seems so. but it's not from priceangles, its from DX. God knows when it arrives. moreover it arrives to my pocket or some custom officers'.
