They are rated for 1 watt slow-pulsed operation, so i suppose its feasible to run them at 1W CW with adequate cooling. I wonder how long they will last though, and at these prices it may not be attractive to find out ;)

Hmm, the price has dropped $10 already. Maybe wait a little longer...
 
Actually I'm not a fan of the 650 G1 for the 638nm I have. The bump in power just isn't worth the loss in divergence.
 
I wonder how much it will make with it.
i might use a 5mode 5x amc7135 board @ 1750mA
 
mmmmm just stacked 2 more AMC7135 chips onto a 16 mode driver, tested the output on a SST-50, getting 1.7A into the LED :)

I'd make them take them down. Why should they make money from your hard work? They could at least give you a diode, or something.
