The REAL Kryton GB round #3. Taking payments now.

This is probably a stupid question, but do you have a time frame as to when the Beasts might get done? I only ask because I will have about $300 to spend this weekend and was wanting to get 3 Grooves if am able to pay for the Beast after a few more weeks, otherwise I'll just stick to ordering one of each.
 





well, the beasts won't be done for another few weeks that can be assured. Right now we havn't even ironed out all the little nuances that end up showing up with a new host. So I have no doubt whatsoever that you will be able to get both the 3 grooves and the beast a few weeks later.

Which size tritium vial fits into the groove, 1.55x 5mm or 2x8mm ? MR

The grooves are designed to hold a 2mm rubber insert. Since it's rubber it can flex a little and needs to actually be held inside the groove. So it's 1.5mm deep and 1.5mm wide
 
Well it looks like life can't get enough of kicking me in the junk. Some unexpected expenses came up and it looks like I will only pay for the 1 groove that I have on the sheet now,.. I'll make damn sure that I can pay for the beast when time comes too. I'll send the payment when I get home from work tonight.
 
yeah same here... just moved into an apartment to save money but so far i have only spent x_X
 
I'm back and can pay whenever you need. Did we reach a final decision regarding UK/EU shipping? I can pay the host-only amount now and send shipping later (when the final price is worked out), or the whole amount now (if you already know the amount), whichever is easier for everyone involved.

I'll be hitting the machines early tomorrow morning and I'll be working through the weekend so expect some pics tomorrow night.
 
I didn't realize Pontiacg5 would be doing the machining. Nice. Any live streaming (or after the fact video) of the machining process would be cool. Maybe charge for the entertainment ;).
 
Heh, its really not all that entertaining. I'll have coolant running the whole time since I'll be cutting so fast.

There is this video that I made though, I'll be using that same machine.

Those that are in EU/UK should wait for payment at this time until we have a better understanding of actual shipping costs.. I'm figuring it's going to be no more than $10 even for those with beasts. If you want you can all just pay $10 and we'll call it good.

Yeah I was told the same thing last time I had these made and I wanted to do a video.. The door needs to be closed as all that coolant is being shot at the bar stock and makes recording virtually impossible. I asked if it was possible to slow it down so that coolant wasn't needed, but they were unwilling. time is money man.. time is money.
 
That is still very cool looking. Thanks for the video. Wish I knew someone locally that worked at a machine shop.

This is sweet, Pontiacg5 is turning these krytons out this weekend, I cant wait until you post some pics.

I would just like to thank kenom. He is one awesome guy for getting this GB of krytons finally going.
He has answered all of my pm's, and even let me pay him in 2 smaller payments. +rep
