So just wondering where you can buy most powerful handheld,laser pointer?Is it true that wicked lasers sells most powerful lasers?
 





No it is not true.

Many veteran members here make handhelds that far exceed anything available from any company.
 
So which veteran member has made the most powerful laser so far?And which company makes/sells most powerful lasers?

2W builds are pretty common these days, there are several 3W, mostly single 9mm diode pushed hard. I think I've seen some 4W with 2 diodes. Can't remember anything higher than that at the moment.
Now if you want 'strongest' you must define limitations. How big must it be to be counted as 'pointer' ? As for lasers in general IIRC the strongest now is the National Ignition Facility.

I've made a 4.4W(Turned out to be 4.9W later) laser and am working on a 6.1W handheld see my signature.

Haha, I was just going to reply about how we had a fellow named Tech_Junkie who filled that exact niche, but unfortunately he got banned for doing so. I miss him.
